God Eater!

Well, I feel much better today :D The rest and medications have probably help me pass through the worst part of my flu! Though is till feel rather sick... At least my splitting headache and fever are gone.

I'll talk about this PSP game, God Eater. It's only in japanese so far, though I heard the english version is being made. But who can wait? Besides, once you figure out the game, you don't really need to wait for the english version. Furthermore, the japanese version is more bloody than the english.

This game is a lot like Monster Hunter. But better. You can customize your characters hair, face, clothes, weapons like MH. You can fight monsters with allies like MH. But God Eater is a better game than MH in certain ways. For instance, your weapon is an interchangeable sword cum gun. For sword, you can choose small, medium and large. The gun and shield too. You see, your weapon is a combination of all 3. You use it to slash, shoot and block. Furthermore, the monsters are less predictable than MH, making it more of a challenge. And you can die as many times possible in a mission, as long as an ally revives you within 30 seconds. The reviving is done by giving half your HP to your fallen ally, so revive him while you have a lot of health, or it would be useless. While MH tries to make single-player less boring by giving you a Felyne warrior, this game allows you to add up to 4 CPU allies, varying in ranks and attack tactics. Some are noobs while others are high-rankers; some slash all the way while others rely on shooting alone. Also, God Eater's missions are always fast-paced. There's no "Kill 50 Vespoids" or "Kill the Lao-Shan Long" quests in this game.

There'll be quests that require you to fight 2 of those big monsters you nearly died fighting when there was one, and despite the difficulty, it's actually doable. It's pure hunting, with a rather interesting storyline. Despite it being in japanese, you can get the gist of the story from the cinematics. And the graphics are quite impressive! Also, the customization of your character's looks is rather cool. You can probably make one character to look like Cloud from Final Fantasy. My only problem? Trying to boost defense. The monsters' attacks seem to take chunks of my health away, and makes it frustrating when I keep dying. So to kill time before Monster Hunter 3 comes to PSP, God Eater is definitely a good game to play.

Shall practise more Green Day! And there's Stop&Stare...

Orianthi's "Shut Up And Kiss Me" sounds great!

Love Green Day's 21 Guns music video!

When you're at the end of the road
And you lost all sense of control
And your thoughts have taken their toll
When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul
