Going Cuckoo

Wow. A 5-min video can take so long to do! But, I'm satisfied with my work, and hopefully the class will like it during the presentation!

Had a weird dream of a girl. I dreamed that I held hands with her as we walked around one of the SMU buildings to find our classroom. WTH.

My...fear... is getting worse. It can just hit me at random moments, and the feeling sucks. Maybe I should consult a psychiatrist...

Tried this new pizza place with Danial today! The pizza is rather filling, and they serve it kinda like Subway. Cool!

I decided to scrap my idea of having my birthday on a yacht. I realize that it's damn bad to ask my parents to sponsor my rental, considering how hard my dad is trying to make sure we get savings each month. Plus, I'm asking him to buy me a new phone. Which costs money too. Not to forget the Bangkok trip. And my monthly allowance. Also, the recent expenditure on my suit. I don't feel like egging him about the phone anymore. I feel really, really bad. Trying to find jobs to earn some money for my own, to at least help a bit.

DJ Love

Paranormal Activity 3 later! I know I'm gonna be a wuss and cover my eyes and ears, but I wanna watch it nonetheless! As a closure.

Been DJ-ing a lot past few days, after being inspired by Raveyard. I wanna DJ one day(night, actually) and make the crowd go wild. I fear that I'd disappoint, so I must practice! Hopefully I can DJ for Starry Night, which is the end-of-semester party!

Gave up on Dissidia. Got beaten up by the first boss, because I know nothing of what's going on in the game. So, give up. Shall play ObsCure with Jokhie instead! Think it'll be fun!haha

Recently started to watch the new season of The Big Bang Theory. Not too bad. HIMYM still the best, though!

And you begin to wonder
Who are your friends,
And who are just faking it.

Halloween Party!

Taking photo with these two chicks was probably the highlight of my night! HAHA Hey, a guy could be happy about the little things, no? They were so curious about how I look under the mask, and I showed them after taking the photos.haha I wonder if they were disappointed?

Finally, I went for a Halloween party! And I love it!

What can I say? Raveyard II was awesome! Too bad Zouk was having an event that night too. Those people missed out on some awesome music! Can't wait for next year! And hopefully I'll be up there DJ-ing too! Time to prepare my "Sexy and I Know It" outfit ;)

Was bloody broke, unable to use my debit card, yet I managed to take a cab home. Fortunately the uncle let me run up to grab some cash to pay him!

Pizza Love

Yesterday I spent most of the day walking around looking for costume shops. Initially wanted to look for a place that sold retro clothes, but couldn't find any. I went Haji Lane, Bugis Junction, Bugis Street... somehow ended up at Takashimaya too.

I realize that Haji Lane is quite cool to walk down, and there are a lot of interesting shops selling clothes there. Maybe I shall go do some shopping there one day.

Had Stereometa briefing for Raveyard yesterday, but I was one of the only two freshmen to turn up. The other, my friend, only went because I pulled her along when I spotted her just ending her lesson! And the meeting was pretty short, which makes me question the CCA.

Today was awesome! Domino's plus Pizza Hut! And we watched Grave Encounters and Insidious. Even watched a few episodes of Gundam Seed! That anime is classic. But it was the first time I actually watched the first few episodes, and I wasn't used to it being in Japanese. That's because I only watched it on television last time, and it was English dubbed.

Persona 3!!!! <3

Costume Worries

What shall I wear to Raveyard? Dressed like a condom? Like a girl? Retro style? I need to think of something!

Are we allowed to be pissed off, or is it just a sign of weakness within ourselves?

Love Is Blind

Blink 182 has a new album! Check it out!

Well, school is blah. Like, it's becoming so routine, like a hamster running on the wheel. You keep running, yet you're going nowhere. Studies studies studies. I just wanna sleep sleep sleep.

I don't understand girls. Guys cheat on them, but the girls are willing to forgive them and get cheated on over and over. I was talking to my good friend yesterday, asking why do girls not just dump the guy after the first time he cheats, and she said that, eventually the girl will forgive the guy, and also because she loves him so. The fact that the guy can cheat on her is just disgusting to me. What kind of fucker can have the mind to cheat on his girl? What I don't understand is, why the girl would hold on to the fucker. If he could cheat once, he could cheat again. Love, as they say, is blind.

PSP is back in my life again!

Waiting for Batman: Arkham City to be out for PC! It can't get here any faster :(

First of all, BIZ LAW IS MURDER! Worst module in the semester ever!

Secondly, I'm totally enjoying Persona 2 Innocent Sin!

Third, the person who wrote the Persona 3 fan fiction is a local! Jaw drop ttm!haha

Lastly, I decided to not bother any more. I'm 21, I'm not that bad looking, and there are many good-looking girls around! So why should I try so hard and chase something I cannot get?

Moving on!

Found so many cool wallpapers and pictures to use for my Facebook cover!

Perspective Difference

I wanted to talk about this for quite some time, but I've not (or didn't bother to) found the time to do so. Might as well do it now before I sleep.

Recently when I eat meals with my friends, they would take out a packet of tissue and offer me at the end. I don't use tissue to clean my mouth after meals. It's not a habit of mine. But apparently it's a habit of theirs. Then when I reflect, I realize how unhygienic of me it is to not do so. Just saying it already disgusts me: "I don't wipe my mouth after eating." It's like saying, "I don't wash my hands after I pee."

That's another example. I believe there are people who do not wash their hands after using the toilet, and I'm sure a lot of us frown at such habit. To us, washing hands after using the toilet is hygiene. Like, flushing the toilet. But to that person, he'll probably see it as normal to not wash hands.

Basically, different people have different perspective of what is acceptable and what isn't in their lives. Not just in hygiene. Maybe you think that picking your nose in public is inappropriate, and I think it's perfectly fine to sit in the MRT train and dig my nose to my satisfaction(which I don't, actually). Another common one I notice is guys scratching their crotches in public. You could find it... acceptable, but I dislike such behavior. I know that some people like to squat on toilet bowls, as if the toilet seat has a "step here" sign on them.

It's all about the perspectives of different people. Maybe it's their upbringing, or just plain weird. Then again, defining "weird" can be subjective. And when I think about this, it realizes how different each individual is, and how amazing the world, Life, everything is.

Also, I saw this photo on Facebook showing kittens abused to death. What kind of sick assholes would do such a thing? Fuckers.

Right knee is hurting quite bad, for reasons unknown.

Didn't DJ this whole week. Sad :(

Stressful week! And it's not that school is tough. It's not like, the lessons are sooooo hard that we are lost. It's just that, for the amount of work we have, there just isn't enough time!

Is my heart fighting a battle that's already lost?

PSP Games: JAP vs. US

Now let me clarify one thing: my post title means games originating from Japan versus games created in the US. I'm not talking about games Japanese against those in English.

This post is just for me to show you all games worth playing on PSP, and I'll show you how Japan totally owns the PSP games industry. But let's take a look at US games first!

#1 Pro Evolution Soccer series
Now, I'm not a huge soccer fan, so I do not see the joy of playing the game. But because a lot of guys enjoy soccer and have PSPs, it seems that P.E.S. is the soccer game for fans and e-sports gamers.

#2 Grand Theft Auto series
Freedom. In almost every sense. That's what this game offers you. You can rob, beat up, kill, hijack, pimp, and roam around in this game series. Rockstar definitely brought gaming violence to a whole new level, but we gamers are not complaining! Chinatown got a bit lame though, with that top-down view and cartoon style...

#3 Burnout series
The Burnout series is definitely an adrenaline rush! Speeding through traffic and taking down cars can never be more awesome than this.

#4 Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
This game is just amazing for it's gameplay and storyline. Especially the storyline. And despite the lack of action, the music and surroundings are enough to creep me out and play on! Although, I actually gave up halfway because I hated the part where you were to escape the nightmares.

#5 God of War series
Ah yes... the coolest, bloodiest game I can think of. GoW let's you beat the crap out of monsters and watch blood splatter as you slay them in the most sadistic ways. Plus, mini sex games to show that Kratos IS a god.

#6 Marvel Ultimate Alliance (just the first game. the second one sucked ttm)
All comic book fans rejoiced as this great game united superheroes around the Marvel Universe for the first time to please it's audience.

Well, that's all I can think of for US-originated games. Now to show you how the Japanese do it!

#1 Persona 3 Portable
I'd mention the whole series that has been put into PSP, but I'm playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin and it's not that fantastic. P3P, however, is pure awesome. So loving the game!

#2 Monster Hunter series
To create your own armor, your own weapon, and hunt huge monsters with your friends... need I say more? Oh, and those felyne partners are soooooo cute!

#3 Metal Gear Solid series
Portable Ops was great. I've never really played MGS before this game, and I really enjoyed it. The motion-comic style cinematics were definitely cool too. Peace Walker was just as good, with new weapons and toys to play with.

#4 Patapon series
Admit it. You've heard it. Pata-pata-pata-pon! I only tried the third one though.

#5 DJ Max Portable series
Probably the best music game on PSP, this series had it's fair share of awesomeness(Portable 2) and lameness(Black Square).

#6 Dissidia series
I've not tried this game before, but I've seen the reviews and people playing it. And that's enough to know that it's a popular game.

#7 Valkyria Chronicles 2
I truly enjoyed every minute playing this game. The characters, the story, the gameplay... sigh. Really great game!

#8 Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force series
Yes, I know, why mention a children's card game? But, I like this game! Considering how few people play this card game in real life, I'm glad I get to still enjoy it in my PSP! And for a card game, it is quite good. Thousands of cards to customize your deck from.

#9 Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact
I've never watched Naruto in my entire life, nor have I played this game. But friends have been seen addicted to this game.

#10 Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
This game was highly anticipated and liked by Kingdom Hearts fans. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.

#11 Tekken series
The fighting game successfully extended to the PSP consoles, even cooler than Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, simply because it's 3D.

#12 Final Fantasy: Crisis Core
People were dying to get a PSP just to play this game, and I must say, it was really promising the entire(and only) 5 mins I ever spent playing the game. Sorry, not a FF fan!

And that's all I can think of for now. But come on, you have to admit that JAP games are much better!haha

Okay, time to nap!

Kids' Carnival

Well, I just came back from my LTB CSP event, which was a kids' carnival, and I am bushed. Like, damn exhausted. I didn't think that the kids could be so hard to control, and it took me all my energy to go through the whole of today!

At first, the kids were really rowdy. Like, seriously. I thought that there would be no way on earth to get through to them. In fact, I thought that they would shoot us down during the feedback session. But as the day went on, things got better. I made friends with them, they were more obedient, and the day went along fine. Yet, still exhausting.

A kid asked if I was from Super Junior. I said no, and she told her friend, "But look a lot like right?"

Another kid asked me, "Why your hair wet since morning?" Because I waxed my hair!

One other kid said, "You got girlfriend right? Confirm one. That blue shirt girl right?" He was referring to my group member.

Another one said, "You giving it to her like giving flowers right?" when I passed my group mate a bottle of water, when her boyfriend was just sitting beside her. WTH.

I remember hearing one saying, "Wah this one know broken English!" when I was explaining stuff to the kids.

But yea, I did have fun. Kind of sad that I'll probably never see those kids ever again.

Screw studying. I'm gonna crash.haha

Persona 4 Anime

Well, I've just watched the first episode of the long-awaited Persona 4 anime, and I must say, it's not bad. I've never played the game, although I heard that the ratings were really high. I was first introduced to the Persona series when I tried out Persona 3 Portable on PSP, and I fell in love with that game almost immediately. I was hooked to it and... wait. I'm getting off-track. Point is, because of that awesome game, I decided to wait and see how Persona 4 would be like. Unfortunately, Persona 4 was only for PS3 and Xbox(?). In fact, only P3P was released for PSP at that time (there's Persona 2: Innocent Sin now).

Back to the topic. I see the familiar Igor and the Velvet Room, and the music used in the anime reminds me of the ones I hear when I play P3P. Really brings me back to the old times... The episode is rather fast-paced, but it's still okay. And I think the protagonist's  persona is kinda cooler looking than the one from Persona 3. This anime looks promising, and I can't wait for episode two! If you know nuts about the Persona series, you may feel a bit lost when watching this first episode. But watch a couple more, and maybe read up a bit, and you'll enjoy this anime!

R.I.P. Steve Jobs

I guess this is the reason why Steve Jobs abruptly stepped down recently. He probably knew his time was coming, and decided it was best to settle his company's fate before he reaches the end of his life. And, like how Apple kept its secrets very well, so did Steve Jobs. And nobody expected the news this morning that he passed away yesterday. Rest in peace, Steve Jobs :(

Staying (Late) In School

Blogging from school! Since I'm waiting for some anime to download finish! :) Been downloading quite a bit using the school internet, but I shall cut down soon. haha

I'm getting very used to staying in school until very late. I think I'll probably be sleeping over by next semester. Not because of the workload, but more of... lazy to go home and come back the next morning. Take today, for instance. I'll go home, bathe and sleep at around 1am, wake up 9am tomorrow to wash up and come down to school again to study. Might as well stay in school! Times like these, I wish I'm staying in a hostel!

Nearly wanted to go clubbing tonight. I mean, it is recess week and ladies night! But nobody to go with. Next time then...haha Not sure if I have enough money anyway!

Team Fortress 2, a good way to take a break! :3

LoLoLoLoL

Well, today proved to be interesting. I'd talk about my weekend, but I didn't do much except relax. One thing to mention, though, is that yesterday morning CR and Kenny dropped by my place to borrow my keyboard, when I was still asleep! When CR said morning, I though it'd be like, 10am-11am? He came so early, and I admit, I was feeling kinda cranky to be woken up like that. Ah well...

And as I predicted yesterday, I fell sick today. Unfortunately, my sickness is worse than what I foresaw. Means I had to skip my project meeting. Which makes me feel like an ass. Anyway, on the way to the doctor, some joker hit the back of my family's car, and I had to snap photos with my lousy Nokia phone. Heh. The camera isn't too bad, actually. But it wasn't anything serious.

Ate McDonald's after consulting the doctor. LOL

There's this weird neighbor, who'll move the dustbin at my estate to his parked car just so he can smoke there. Plus, he just used a dustbin to "reserve" the parking lot as he drove off. What a loony. I'm damn tempted to go tape the dustbin to his car, just for fun.haha

I realize how much of what Ted said in S01E01 of How I Met Your Mother actually hits home to me.

"You know what? I’m done being single. I’m not good at it. Look, obviously you can’t tell a woman you just met that you love her. I’ll tell you something though. Say if a woman -- not you -- just some hypothetical woman, were to bear with me through all this, I think I’d make a damn good husband, cause that’s the stuff I’d be good at, stuff like making her laugh, being a good father, and walking her 5 hypothetical dogs and being a good kisser…"

I mean, I meet this amazing girl, and I don't know why, but I just feel like I like her, a lot. I guess I did a Mosby on her...

Nearly went to dye my hair when I went to cut it just now. I walked in, and just so happens a girl went in before me. The hairdresser asked, "Are you together with her?" Heh. I wish.

Simon Says Chillax

Went to accompany CR to get his medical report and go for his physiotherapy. We went to play lan after that! 1v1 Counter Strike, where I got owned and we were laughing away, before playing L4D. We were losing at first, but we manage to win in the end! Teamwork ^_^

Today I crashed an Indian birthday dinner, and I felt so out of place! I did went to try all the different Indian food at the buffet though!haha

Celebrated Sara's birthday! Plus, I kept playing with the lighter and lighted up so many stuff! Must keep myself in check! We surprised her with the cake and headed to Clarke Quay to chill! Saw some people getting ready to Bang, Bang, Bangity Bang!

There are times when I really miss her, and wonder what she's doing at the moment.

Tired to the max! Planning events is exhausting!

Nearly spent $60 on Yu-Gi-Oh! cards! Was soooo tempted. I kept holding the box, thinking if I should spend the money. In the end, I decided not to. Heart pain!!!haha
