Scrambled Thoughts Like Scrambled Eggs

ORD survey. Whaaaaaaaaaaat?

I think my family reads my blog O_O Blog reading should have some minimum criteria or something. Like, if you're staying under the same roof as me, or directly related to me, you cannot read ^^ Does that mean I have to watch what I say? Nah...

I think... even if I like a girl who is 10 years my junior or senior(junior meaning she at least 18 and I'm 28), I think I would not mind. But, I would have to be really into her to overlook the age factor. I mean, sure, the age gap may sound like a turn-off, but when you look back in life when you're old, you can say, "Hey, at least my love life deviated from the norm. I got to try something different." Saying that, that does not mean I'll try being gay. LOL No offence to my gay friends!

Yesterday played lan with CR gang! Like, finally! Such a long time since we played. I mean, I played 2 or 3 times a week already, but with army friends. Played till 3am, and I'm now awake. Very very lack of sleep...

You could say I'm just going through another "face" of my life

Goodbye Adam Couple!

Ah! Not been blogging the past few days! Losing the momentum :( My friend asked me why do I blog. Why do I blog? I wonder...

Crazy over DotA nowadays... T_T

Damn my cbox! All the weird messages... not sure how to rectify it...

Yesterday I watched WGM and found out that the Adam couple had ended. I mean, WTF. Just because they appeared in Family Outing 2 of some rival company, the producers end the couple? I mean, seriously. Without Ga-In and Jo Kwon, WGM would not have gone far. The only reason I watched that show was for the Adam couple. Now that they are gone... the show just lost a viewer. And it's actually quite sad, seeing them announcing on air about their end, and how they spend the last night together...

I'm so hooked to Grenade by Bruno Mars, and other songs.

Today is finally the day! ^^

Super long week next week! :)

I'd catch a grenade for ya
Throw my head on a blade for ya
I'd jump in front of a train for ya
You know I'd do anything for ya

Time-out

Sometimes, I just don't give a damn and let my temper take it's toll. To just hide behind smiles is just tiring. Once in a while, I just want to be fucked up. Just to remember that I'm, after all, still human.

So sue me.

Me Can't Handle Club

Well, this post is to make up for Friday night, since I had duty yesterday. Friday night was Butter Factory! And even though that was the last place I ever clubbed before the long break from clubbing, I still love the place! When I saw the jugs that the guys bought, I felt a bit nauseous though, recalling what happened the last time we ordered 4 jugs :/ While standing outside, I remembered what I did not like about the girls at that club: they smoke. You see all the hot-looking girls waiting to go in, and before you rate a 9/10 for them you see a cigarette between their fingers and smoke coming out of their mouth, and their rating got slashed by half. Who knew how their teeth and lungs looked like? Also, I heard that Friday night crowd usually consisted of office people, who, after a long week, came to chillax.

You step into the club, and it's like you step into another world. The room is dark, with several lights littered all around the room. You see guys dressed up to pick up some ladies tonight, their eyes already picking their preys. Working ladies walking in, their make-up shedding a few years off their face, trying to relive their young times again. Men in their office clothes buying a beer or two to relax after a long week of hell at work(or home). Teenage guys sauntering in like they own the place, only looking like losers. Teenage girls, with their short skirts and thick eyelashes, wondering how many guys to tease tonight. Friends gathering at tables to celebrate or just meet up, huge bottles on the table to entertain their entire night. The DJ plays some awesome R'n'B music, the heavy bass thumping the ground and your body.

I must say, I really loved the music. And I saw the guys and girls dancing on the dancefloor, and I realised how much I had been missing out the past one year.

Fyi, The Last Exorcism sucks. It sucks in every prospect. The storyline is crap, the possessed girl is boring, the ending is plain WTF, and the "camera POV" like REC or Paranormal Activity is a failure. Till now, I'm not sure who screwed that girl.

Book in later. Bummer. Again.

Lan-athon

I've probably played enough lan this whole week to make up for an entire month! Monday, Wednesday, yesterday... first time I've bought 10 hrs straight, playing from 3pm to nearly midnight.

I don't understand why people who are good at DotA can be so cocky. Just because you are good at a game does not mean you're so big. What's so proud to be about? It's not like you can tell your kids in future, "Kids, when I was younger, I was a master at DotA. I could thrash anybody I want." The way I see it, your kids are going down too.

Today I was taking the bus home from camp, and with everybody rushing to work and school, it's understandable that the bus was packed. What I don't understand is, why do people who see the bus being so full, still insist on tapping their card and try to board. It's already so crammed inside the bus. Just because you do not bother to wake up earlier to catch an earlier bus, you make the other passengers suffer by squeezing even more? If I were standing at the door I wouldn't even give space for you. If it's full, it's full.

Booking in again tonight. Bummer.

On a happier note, Butter Factory tonight! ^^

Just tonight I will stay
And we'll throw it all away

Colour Me Goth

To think I spent 4 hours studying for my BTT and doing all the questions. It took me 10 minutes to complete the test! There were a couple of questions that I had no clue, because I totally skipped them or did not bother to remember. So I just gambled and picked without thinking. I told myself I would get back to those questions at the end, but was too lazy. Plus, I forgot which were the questions I wanted to look at again. But, I still passed! 48/50!Last to arrive, first to leave! Oh, I forgot to mention that I was nearly late. Lost track of time at home!

Wanted to get my PDL(Provisional Driving License) but the system was down T_T So unfortunate! Topped up my account, but I spent all the money already. Booked all my March lessons and my FTT! There are barely any good slots in February left! I barely have lessons that month. Sure, I can book those late night ones, but it's pricey and I would not have the mood to learn at such an hour.

Sihua's 21st theme is "goth". And somehow, I'm pretty excited. I'm already planning my outfit, where to get the make up, etc. Thought of going there looking like Green Day, but I can keep that for when I have band performance! I plan to go all-out on dressing goth! :) We only get to do this once in our life!

I plan to get contacts really soon, but my mom suggested me going for LASIK, meaning she's willing to fork out the cash. Sounds VERY tempting...

Booking in early today! Shall have dinner with my friends ("operators" and "men" sound so demeaning) and play lan! Miss playing lan!

I have this idea for a manga... kind of inspired by Monster Hunter, but I need someone who can draw manga well. Or, I could try learning.

That Youtube video idea is still bugging me. I just need to come up with some test... all you heavy make-up girls are gonna flip when I make this video :D

Many Many Movies!

I just finished studying for my BTT, which I took only the night to study. Got full marks for my mock test, so I should do fine :) I read something about "slow down at flooded area" to not splash water on pedestrians. Sad to say, there are assholes on the road who do not follow this. I remember getting my jeans all soaked from knee down all because one idiot sped over a puddle in front of me.

And a lighter note, I was looking through trailers of upcoming movies! So excited!

Thor Trailer
Thor trailer looks quite appealing. Big ass robots, sneaky Loki, hot damsel... maybe it's worth watching!
Thor Trailer
"It's hammer time!" Think Warcraft. Think "Storm Bolt".

Green Lantern Publicity Still
Green Lantern seems like it has a lot of potential! The trailer is rather funny, like when Hal Jordan showed his pal his Green Lantern costume.

Topher Grace as Matt Franklin in Take Me Home Tonight (2011)
Take Me Home Tonight looks interesting too! And it's Topher Grace! That 70s Show!!!

Also, a new picture of the 2012 Spider-man reboot! Look at the costume! The design looks a bit different, and rather incomplete. Too bad they do not show the mask! Andrew Garfield looks like he can make it as a Spider-man (Tobey Maguire will be missed)! And Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey? Nice. It seems there will not be a Mary Jane in the movie though, which is okay. Let Peter and Gwen have some love :)

Green Lantern
"I know right?!"

Must...Study...

Well, I've tried to study for my BTT, but I'm always procrastinating the whole day! Die die die...

I wonder if [CR] Productions! will ever make it big...hmmm...

Study study study! ARGH!

Yesterday had dinner at this-place-that-I-cannot-remember-the-name at Marina Square! The curry was awesome! Shall try the super spicy next time! Gelare ice cream after that! As heavenly as always, and I'll always feel chocolate overloaded after that :) Sinful pleasures, that's what it is. I told the guys some super lame joke, which I was surprised they laughed.

When I walked into the Coffee Club, the person working there told me, "Sorry sir, we cannot serve you."

Why?

Ans: Club Can't Handle Me

Let's go Bangkok! Even though I do not feel like shopping! Just go enjoy the hotel :D

A Good Way To End The Week

Just came back from dinner with Deren, Kenny and Rosh! My initial plan was to play lan, but eventually we ended up having dinner at Aston's and dessert at Everything With Fries! And boy did I have a great time! Tonight beats all the Friday nights spent on playing lan! The double chicken thing was awesome, and I felt really full even before I finished it! We nearly went to Swensen's for desserts, but because it was nearly 10pm, we headed down to Everything With Fries instead. Tried the Nutella Tart, and it's super chocolate-y. Had to drink loads of water after that! I do not actually regret going there instead of Swensens. And skipping lan was the right decision! Had a really fun time reminiscing secondary school days, talking about university and girls, etc. We should have this more often!

And I'm not into chibi! I like K-ON! for the story!!!lol

And what's with my chatbox? Virus? I saw a Katy Perry.

Before every beginning, there is an end.

Fast Post

This week was rather... long. After Sunday's duty, I spent my Monday and Tuesday rushing to prepare to hand over my secondary appointment, writing out detailed notes on the role and procedures as requested from my new BC. Wednesday was truncated training, and thankfully I did not get f***ed. In fact, I did not do much. I just followed the team and "eye-power" most of the time. Everyone were saying,"You going to ORD already still come?" I'm like, "Yeah, I know right?" Following day was duty, and I watched The Social Network. I really liked the movie, and for those who have not watched it, I recommend you do. It's really interesting, seeing how Facebook was born. Sure, we should not take the whole movie at face value, some truths may have been altered, but as a movie it's really, really good. The cast is good too; the guy from Zombieland, the guy who's going to be Spider-man in the 2012 movie, the guy who sang "Sexy Back"...

Half day today! Need to prepare for my BTT! Once this weekend is over, I can let out  a sigh of relief...

Short Weekend

This weekend is so short! There was recall this morning! I was expecting it to happen at 8am, but it was already 9 plus and no news? I was hoping that recall did not happen. But then, at 10am, my friend called me and told me there was recall. Damn...

Came all the way back to camp, scan my 11B, sign, wait for all to arrive, then book out! Kind of a waste of my Saturday morning :( Could have done other things. But I went out with some friends after that! Went Bras Basah because my friend wanted to get some clay for his new "business". I went to Kinokuniya and splurged my pay on comics! I was pretty surprised that pay came in today!haha

Going to my friend's 21st party later, then book in tonight. Duty tomorrow SIGH...

The new battery commander wants us ORD-ing specialists to write a reflection on NS life. What shall I write about?

I just realized that in 2010, I had 365 posts! What a coincidence!!! Considering I do not write one post per day, it means I must have written several per day many times!!!

I'll feel more relaxed once 17 Jan is over. I've barely studied for my BTT! D:

Feel like watching Batman Begins! Gonna watch Easy A tomorrow at duty! Yay!

I am finding out that maybe I was wrong
That I've fallen down and I can't do this alone
Stay with me, this is what I need, please?

Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai

This post is purely for Oreimo, aka Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. So, all my dear readers, if you are not keen on reading about this anime, or do not want my to spoil it for you, SKIP THIS POST!

Ah... Oreimo. This is one anime I somehow love. And it's not because of little sisters. That just disgusting. I really like the story, and how the series is somewhat about "everyday life". I tend to prefer such anime compared to stuff like Bleach, Fairy Tail... well, zombie ones like Highschool of the Dead are nice too. But Oreimo really appeals to me somehow.

Unfortunately, the series has ended, although they consider this ending to be the "good ending". They are planning 4 more episodes this year, which will probably show the "true ending".

Now, the series start with the brother Kousaka Kyousuke being woken up by his good sister Kirino Kyousuke, which he says is a dream. Now, that kind of way to start the series really impressed me, being different from those predictable introductions to series. Plus, the opening is really entertaining, varying each episode, with the same song Irony by ClariS.

Episode 1 really establishes all the main characters(well, most of them), like Kyousuke's childhood friend Tamura Manami and his parents. The episode is rather hilarious, with Kyousuke discovering a R-rated game in the house, and finding the culprit.
Somehow, Kyousuke's mom is used to her son having pornographic material.
Bankai!
This part is actually uncalled for...

But really, the first episode was so nice I just had to watch on! Every week I would wait for a new episode to be released, and download it immediately.

Is this scene in the OP some hint?

In episode 1 Kyousuke describes a favourite scene of his in some eroge game, saying " You know the part where their parents are against their relationship and Shiori runs out of the house? And then when the main character chases after her and they look into each other's eyes in the sunset..." I think this may become a scene in the alternate ending of the series somehow...

Soon, we'd be introduced to more new characters, like Ayase(Kirino's best friend), Saori and Kuroneko. I deduced that Saori was actually some elegant lady in disguise, and my hunch was actually right!
I realised Ayase would make a waaaay better sister to Kyousuke.
Saori's glasses are meant to make you sleepy :D
I did not realize Kuroneko was older than Kirino until much later.
Anime within an anime. And the animations are awesome in their own way.
If you think this perverse face in ep3 is bad, wait till the much later episode.
There goes his innocence...

Things go wrong quite fast for Kirino, as her dad and in future Ayase finds out about her secret hobby. Kyousuke is really daring when facing his dad, even declaring that the eroge are his just to save his sister. Yet, she still treats him like dirt. Whatever possible romance between Kyousuke and Ayase are destroyed after he lies to her that Kirino is that way because he loved her in a different way(of course he was lying).

If this was a cartoon, his jaw would've reached the floor.

Of course, in some parts of the series we see Tamura trying to hint to Kyousuke, who is oblivious to it all. He does not like like her, yet does not want her to be with some other guy. That logic somehow confuses me till today. Episode 6 focuses on the two, with him staying over at her place. We can see that she may have a little crush on him, but he probably does not. And Kirino seems to miss her brother...

We see the friendship of Kirino and Kuroneko, which is actually growing despite their constant arguing. By the end of the series, you can tell how much their friendship has actually grown.

Kia!
Kirino finds out that her brother surfed porn with her laptop, when he should've been playing eroge. Now, from my point of view, eroge is worse.

We even get to see the lives of Kirino, Saori and Kuroneko in one episode, which really let's viewers understand the characters even more. You realize how much the three treasure each other's friendship. However, I think Kirino is too crazy over eroge... In fact, the character in the new game she was drooling over resembles her a lot.
Licking her lips? WTH?!! Over an eroge?
Told you that it's more than meets the eye with Saori!
Kyousuke giving Kuroneko a call. That's a first for her...and me.

Of course, there are hints that incest may be in the air, like when Kirino made her brother bring her out on Christmas and insisted he got her a present. Or how she seemed down when he was away at Tamura's house. Or how they accidentally land on each other while fighting over some box. Heck, even Kuroneko thought that the siblings have some feelings, like when she made that manga about them, which was just funny!
This is actually pretty bad...
"Sniff. Sniff." OMG Kuroneko's narration was hilarious!
"Rustle rustle. Rustle rustle." Now where have I seen this before...

Of course, the stories are hilarious and really entertaining. For instance, when Ayase wanted to get Kirino a birthday present related to her hobby, which Kyousuke suggested the prize for the Star Witch Meruru cosplay competition. Seeing the two interact is rather funny, and the episode itself had it's humorous parts too. I must say, the opening for Star Witch Meruru is quite addictive! In the end, they got Kirino's other friend, Kanako, to cosplay as Meruru herself.
Yep. Possible romance between the two is out the window.
The resemblance is uncanny!...
... only on the outside.
To nosebleed over a cosplay is...rather serious.

Sometimes, I feel sorry for poor Kyousuke. He does so much for his sister, yet all she does is treat him like crap. Like the time Tamura went to their home, and she sabotage him by taking out all his porn and display them in his room. Not to mention how often she hits him for nothing.

You got to really pity the poor fellow.
Pow!
Smack!
Wam!
Bam!
Ouch!

But all good things come to an end, and Kyousuke's efforts are finally appreciated by Kirino. Or at least, she finally shows it. By the last couple of episodes, you see Kirino softening up to Kyousuke, thanking him for helping her all the while. I must say, i understand why the poor guy would cry when she thanks him.

In the last episode you see Kirino has turned really friendly to her brother, no longer showing hostility towards him. This, of course, worries him, being used to getting bashed by her. But she acts this way because she was leaving for overseas the next day, and did not know how to tell Kyousuke. She tries to hint to him to tell her not to go, to stay, but he does not take the hint. In the end, it's a eroge game that says it all, making Kyousuke realize this. However, since this is the "good ending", you see Kyousuke telling Kirino to do as she pleases and just go. You can see Kirino being hurt and angry, and beating her brother up in frustration. In the ending credits, we see how life goes on for the characters, like Kuroneko in the cat ears LOL Of course, Kirino decides not to leave for Kyousuke, yet denying it in front of him. At the last part, the scene from episode 1 where Kyousuke returns home with Kirino relaxing on the couch happens again, only this time Kirino tells Kyousuke that life counselling is not over. Kyousuke, like all good brothers, says okay.
This, too, is really unnecessary.

I'm amazed by how well the anime creates the places like the Summer Comiket. Even the shops with all the manga and stuff are rather detailed. I even spotted Godzilla in a shop in one of the scenes! Unfortunately I cannot find any screenshots to show the sceneries...

So, there you have it. Oreimo in a nutshell. Pretty long post, if I do say so myself. Also, the manga came out after the anime, so despite the manga looking rather... incest, the anime is nothing like it.

My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute
