D-Load

Yes! The whole Ultraman(1966) series are finally mine! Japanese with English subtitles! Heh.

Downloaded 20 parts of the PS2 game only to find out part 1 no longer exists-.- Wasted a lot of my time.

Getting The Mentalist season 3 now! And re-downloading the game from another source. Zzz.

Finished watching Nodame Cantabile! Too bad we do not get to see Chiaki and Nodame get married, but love the ending nonetheless! So sad that it's finally over! T_T Doubt I'll try the drama though. There's no way they can act out all the funny expressions from the anime.

I just realised how many movies there are to look forward to this year! There's Transformers 3, Green Lantern, Thor, Captain America, X-men: First Class, Fast 5, Kung Fu Panda 2, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, Puss in Boots, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn,Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Paranormal Activity 3!

Shall take Dragon Age II from CR soon! I've a sudden urge to play Sims 3 again!

Cannot wait for Saturday! LOL

In love with "Just Can't Get Enough" by the Black Eyed Peas!!!

Boy I think about it every night and day
I'm addicted wanna jump inside your love
I wouldn't wanna have it any other way

Sucker Punch Is ???

Downloading Ultraman episodes the past few days! So glad someone bothered to upload them, with English subtitles too! Even though it's a really old show(1966), I kind of enjoy it. Sure, it's predictable and the plot is rather lame, but it's nice to appreciate the old stuff!

Been looking at common Japanese phrases. Shall start learning some Japanese!

Booked my driving test today! 3rd May shall be the final showdown between me and the car! Once that is done, I'll not drive any time soon. The final theory test was okay, but it sucked that it poured when I went there. I went into the room soaked, and the air conditioner was blowing directly at my seat. Like the basic theory, I just rushed through the test and left. The stupid rain spoiled my mood to do the paper slowly. But I passed, nonetheless, with only one wrong answer :D

After the test I went jamming with the gang. It's been quite a while since I played such "lively" songs; feels really good. Nostalgic, in fact. But it was a great time! We even extended another hour! Dinner was at Empire State, where the food was good yet pricey. Oh, it is at this mall called Iluma, which is rather empty for a mall. But they have Comics Connection! Heh. Dinner was satisfying, and CR made me laugh so hard I had to stop eating my ice cream for fear of choking on it. I spent quite some time trying to explain superheroes to the guys, especially when I told them about all the Robins that Batman had. Somehow, we watched movie after that. Before the movie we killed some time watching some kids play Dance Dance Revolution at the arcade there. Those kids are really good at it! One of them did most of the song backwards too! Impressive, but it shows how much of their youth was wasted on the machine.

We watched Sucker Punch, and I swear by the end of the movie I was still lost. People say Inception is confusing, or that Watchmen is random. After you watch Sucker Punch, you'd think Inception is as simple as Shrek. The plot was not even a plot. The girl dances, and suddenly she's in another world. I somehow feel that the director tried to make the movie like some anime. The main character wore a school uniform like those you see in Japanese anime. Her eyes are like, huge, like anime. The action seems to be following that of an anime. The only thing worth praising is the action scenes. I was quite impressed with the huge samurai and the dragon. But the story just pulls everything down. It was so ridiculous that I saw Kenny grinning with the "this is just wth" look, Jeff smiling with "this does not make sense at all" face, and CR with "I'm-so-bored-what-am-I-doing-here-why-they-bring-me-here-I-can-download-this-at-home-in-HD" written all over his face. Somehow the mayor in the movie made me think of CR.haha Vanessa Hudgens does nothing in the movie. She's just some calefare there to cry, throw a monkey wrench in the plan and die.

The sucker ain't any of them;
it's us viewers.

Bangkok Day 3

Day 3

Okay, day 3 started the usual way: awesome breakfast. Unfortunately I did not feel like eating much that morning, so I took less of everything compared to the day before. I brought out most of my cash that day because I was planning to splurge on that day. We were going to... some place that is a really huge pasa malam!

The weather that day was hotter than previous days; it seems the weather is returning to normal. I admit, having low temperature is nicer because we won't sweat. Anyway the place we were going to was already packed by the time we reached! It seems everyone goes there on weekends to do their shopping! I have to say, the variety of stuff they sell there is huge! There were usual stuff like shoes, clothes and food, then as we walked on there were stuff like paintings, plastic fruits, and squirrels! There was even a massage shop in the middle of it! There was some guy selling some magic trick gadgets, which were simple and quite impressive at first glance.

I really pity the animals sold there. You see all the small kittens and puppies crammed together in their cages. Rabbits, hamsters and even squirrels are not spared! The squirrels all had small leashes tied around their necks! What the hell! The animals looked so cute, but seeing how they were placed there was just sad. I should have bought one squirrel and let it free. Shit.

CR bought some weird squishy toy that, when you throw it hard onto a surface, it would somewhat smear onto the surface and gradually get back it's shape. Funny yet disgusting. That afternoon was spent mostly sleeping and stoning in the hotel room. I went to dye my hair in the evening! I thought, why not? Since I was not schooling or anything.

Had dinner at the same restaurant as the first day, before going for massage at a massage place near our hotel. It was a rather painful experience, the way they squeeze my shoulders. I was wondering, how can the rest enjoy this kind of torture? Maybe if you're into SM you'd like it! Turns out the rest actually suffered the same fate as me, except CR.lol

All The Good Stuff

It's at night, tomorrow's my final theory test for driving, yet I did not hit the books the entire day! Oh well, the test is at 3pm tomorrow, so I'll do it tomorrow! :D Procrastination ftw!

Last night I decided to continue watching Nodame Cantabile, and I really enjoy the anime. Despite being an anime about music, people with almost zero music background (like me) can still enjoy it! The scenes in it are so funny, and the music are just inspiring. Already at the final season, shall finish it asap! Heh.

Persona 3 Portable is still the sex! I like how the plot takes a twist, and shifts to a darker mood as the story goes on. And the way Akihiko scolds the enemies "sons of bitches"... nice! Probably the first RPG I ever loved. Wait, does Valkyrie Chronicles II count? I know I did not enjoy Valkyria Profile...

I do not have driving this week, which I do not mind, actually. I had driving lessons every day last week, and I must admit it was not very enjoyable. Once I pass the theory test tomorrow I shall book my driving test! I've eight driving lessons left, excluding the auto car lesson, and I hope it's enough!

Time to move my lazy ass.

And I almost had you

Taxi Day

Today is Taxi Day. Why do I call it Taxi Day? Because taxis are screwed up. Not all, but a lot.

I was suppose to meet at CR's place this morning. So I went across the road to another road to take a cab. While walking towards the road I saw an available taxi on the road I was heading to. Like a typical Singaporean(I'm not say this in a patriotic way), I ran for it. I ran there and stuck my hand out. Bugger saw me, changed the sign to "On Call", and turned into the road I ran out from. "On Call" my ass! Unfortunately, I did not notice two other available taxis after that. 2 other available taxis simply ignored me. Only at my 6th taxi was I fortunate enough.

This evening, I was at the taxi stand waiting for taxi. This particular taxi, who was two lanes away, saw me at the taxi stand and wanted to try to pick me up. Thing is, even if the road was empty, he would not be able to change lane in time to stop in front of the stand. Better yet, there were buses and many other vehicles on the road. As he tried to change lane, I tried to tell him forget it by shaking my head at him. There was, after all, another taxi that was just reaching the taxi stand AND on the leftmost lane. Somehow that taxi manage to make his way across, and I was in a dilemma on which taxi to take. CR told me to take the one that tried so hard to come to me.

Taxi drivers are rather... bold. The way they speed is just... wow. They drive through zebra crossing like the crossing never existed. They swerve in and out of lanes like the scenes from Tokyo Drift. They tailgate you like what you do in Need For Speed games. They zoom down roads even though they are expected to slow down or stop soon. Some give the black face when you tell your location. There are those who ignore you because they are waiting for midnight charge. Oh, and they seem to have no patience for learning drivers.

But I cannot say that I hate all taxi drivers. There are good ones who are polite and drive properly, making you feel like a welcomed customer. It's taxi drivers like these that I bother to round up all my taxi fare. My friends always ask me why I'm so rich, to give them extra. These drivers are, after all, trying hard to make a living. Plus, my grandfather was a taxi driver. He used to give me rides to the petrol kiosk near my place in Pasir Ris long time ago, and buy me sweets and snacks.

I know I'm diverting from the topic, but I'm gonna talk a bit of my grandfather. In his younger days, he never fully completed his studies, and he signed on the army. Now I vaguely remember all the army pictures and stuff in his house when I was very young. During army he tried to take his 'O' Levels. So it was like all young students and he was a man among them taking the exams. He did not do well, but I know he tried his best. After serving the army, he went to become a driving instructor, before finally becoming a taxi driver. Because of having many kids(meaning my mother and her siblings), he had to work really hard to support the family. If he were here right now, I could be taking some driving lessons from him in his taxi.

I remember my mom breaking down when news of his cancer first broke out. It was at night, and I was going to bed. When I heard of it, I felt a bit of sorrow. I was young; I did not know what death and loss meant. I remember that he enjoyed food, and he passed away from cancer without being to enjoy any food in his final moments. I remember him bedridden for so many months, always on drips, struggling to stay alive, yet unable to eat. I remember his funeral. I remember the sadness, but yet I did not cry. I could not. Because I did not understand.

Honestly, I really wish I could spend some quality time with my grandfather at an age where I can appreciate him for the man he was. He could see me grow up, and despite not being the smartest grandchild, at least he would see me grow. I wonder if he'll be proud of who I am right now.

And that's why, not matter how much I hate taxi drivers on the road, how much I feel like swearing at them, I'll always keep it in. For him. Because like all the good taxi drivers who are trying so hard to make a living, he was one of them.

I'll blog another time, ya?

Go Figure? No Figure.

Today I decided to hunt down the figure from Persona 3 in Singapore. My friend suggested this particular place, called Letardo, which has an outlet at Funan. So I went there before jamming, and despite being unable to find it, I enjoyed walking around the shop! There were figurines and stuff from all kinds of anime and games! Think of it as Toy Outpost, just Japanese. Masked Rider, K-ON!, One Piece, Valkyrie Chronicles, Highschool of the Dead... even had Oreimo! Sure, there those figures of the female characters dressing in skimpy outfits or doing sexy poses, but I skipped them. I'm a good boy :) Anyway I asked the guy if they had Persona 3 figures, but the guy said that the only one they ever had was Aigis, and it was sold out a long time ago. I asked if they ever sold the main protagonist, and he replied they mostly get the female characters -.-

Met CR and his friend, plus his friend's girlfriend, for jamming. I was too busy figuring the bass to hear the singing, so I cannot recall if the singing was good. Did not get to try the kebab though :( Bummer. Ate Subway before sharing a cab with CR.

I just read this month's issue of Hot magazine, and they showed photos of 17 year old Beiber with Selena Gomez. What's she doing with him? I'm removing her songs from my "Favourites" playlist in my iPod Touch.

"Sparks Fly" is probably the first Taylor Swift song I've truly enjoyed listening to.

I f**king want.

Bangkok Day 2!

Day 2

Day 2 started with awesome breakfast! First I had a bowl of cereal, before spamming bacons, baked beans, sausages and eggs! Love western breakfast! However, the desire dies down rather fast. The bacon was not that fantastic. I never stuffed myself so much for breakfast before, and that day I really stuffed myself until I had no appetite for lunch!

That day we went to the malls to shop for cheap stuff! The location was rather far, and we had to take a long train ride. If this were Singapore, I would just flag down a cab. However, Bangkok roads are really congested, and if we took a taxi the cost would probably be ridiculously high. There were really a lot of shops, yet I did not find what I was really looking for. CR was searching everywhere for size 46 shoes, and apparently size 45 is the largest. I tried this bear hat and was tempted to buy it, but decided to walk around and see if anywhere else sold it at a lower price. In the end, I bought some shirts. That day we took down whatever we spent our money on, to keep track of our expenditure. Lunch/dinner was at some place like shabu shabu. The beef there was really nice! Enjoyed cooking the food. Plus, free flow of Pepsi! Why can't Singapore be like that? We had some problem with the prawns, because we were suppose to finish it up. In the end the remainder was hidden under some tissue.

After dinner we went back to the mall to get groceries, supposedly for drinking games that night. We saw some huge-ass durians while there, and CR bought some big lollipop which did not sound cheap! On the way to the train station we saw this place which had a lot of cars on display, apparently put up for sale. The cars were cool, and CR looked like he was in heaven!

That night the guys went to cook the leftover carbonara from the previous day. Oh, we ordered carbonara and pizza the previous night because I was suddenly hungry and craving for pizza. Took quite a while to call the right number. I kept calling the desk! LOL Anyway we did not play drinking games in the end, probably because we were damn tired. I went to bed, but ended up playing my PSP (P3P!) and got up when I heard CR and Kenny cooking carbonara with banana, alcohol and mango juice. I decided to join the fun and ate their concoction, which did not taste as horrible as I thought it would be. After that weird meal, we all went to sleep, with CR leaving the television on as usual to "soothe" us to sleep.LOL I played PSP and waited for him to fall asleep before turning the television off and going to sleep.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Driving today was quite alright, and my instructor asked me to apply for my driving test soon. I did the e-trial today too, and managed to pass! Even though I only read 400 out of the 600 questions, and did not read my final theory book.

Hope the vocalist will show up! Please! All depends on you now!

Still in love with Persona 3 Portable!

Late

Played my P3P on PSP until 4am this morning! Crazy right? I just wanted to enjoy the summer break in the game! Rather hilarious moments! I only slept at 4 plus...

This morning I woke up at 10am, and something kept bugging me to check my driving, because I was not sure when was my driving for this week. And I found out I have driving every day this week! And today's one was at 10:20am! Rushed down to the driving centre. Did directional change, with the instructor biting my head off as usual. He asked if I was a very quiet person, seeing that I did not talked much. Why would I talk? I'm too busy trying to make sure I drive properly. Went to book my auto car lesson too, earliest I could get was 13 April at night. Which is okay, because by then, I'll still be going for loads of driving lessons. I've still quite a lot of lessons ahead of me, even though I'm sure I've met the criteria for minimum number of lessons. I feel like I need more practice on parts where I still lack confidence to ensure no failure.

Today was spent mostly transferring my stuff to my new cupboards. Damn boring.

I've e-trial test for final theory tomorrow and I have not studied even a single thing yet. Waste my lesson.

It may mean little to you,
But it means the world to them.

Back From Bangkok!

Back from Bangkok! Actually we touched down last night, but only now am I free to sit down and blog. Gosh! Ages since I blogged! Feeling quite happy right now because there may be hope for the band after all! Anyway, I shall recount the whole trip!

Day 1
Our trip starts with me waking up very early in the morning... like 4am? I was so un-awake I skipped breakfast. Fortunately my mom offered to drop me at the airport so it was not so bad. I was putting on my contact lens when I received an SMS from Kenny asking if we are awake and on our way. Probably scared we overslept? XD Anyway I got a free ride to the airport. CR called me while I was still on the way, at exactly 5am(our meet-up timing) asking where I was.

Feels so... excluded when the terminal is totally not connected to Changi Airport. It's like Singapore Airlines does not want to be shown connected to Budget Airlines. And I actually can see why. When I stepped into the terminal, I could really see why it was "budget". There were only two eateries; McDonalds and some small food shop. I was not really surprised that McDonalds planted an outlet there; I'd be more surprised if they did not. Kenny and CR were there already. Jeff apparently left something at home and had to return home halfway to get it. We decided to grab a bite first before the flight. And there were only two queue for the tickets in the big, empty terminal. The people in front of us were just amazing. One whole big group, which made us wait for nearly half and hour before it was our turn. Plus, we saw a couple that looked like some commandos.

The inside of the terminal is not exactly fantastic either. I was only impressed with the sofas in front of the television having speakers installed on the sides of them. Apart from that, nothing much. The boarding of the plane is the best. You know how the terminal is connected to the plane by some... what do you call that? Some passageway. Budget Airlines uses stairs. Means we have to walk out of the terminal and up the steps into the plane. The best part was that it was raining. So they provided umbrellas for us to shelter ourselves to the plane. Rather amazing, no? The plane is rather small, being more cramped than JetStar if I recall correctly. CR and I spent the whole flight talking cock while Kenny and Jeff were catching up with sleep. I did not want to sleep because I feared I would feel groggy when we reach, which would suck because once we checked into the hotel we would be shopping right away. CR and I bought a can of Coke just for the sake of spending money.

The airport was more or less like how I remember it to be the last time I was in Thailand. We went to grab a bite before taking the train to the hotel. I bought Dunkin' Donuts! Yummy! Fortunately the train had seats(because it was at the end of the line), us carrying our huge bags. The ride was rather long, with us having to change trains a couple of times. The turnstiles look a lot like Singapore's! And the people there wait for trains in a very orderly manner. Singaporeans would simply block the entrance of trains, only thinking for themselves and wanting to squeeze in. The people in Thailand queue up to enter the train. I repeat: queue-fucking-up. Singaporeans should be damn ashamed of themselves. Really. However, Thailand people leave the train kind of like Singaporeans. I swear I felt like I was washed out of the cabin rather than walking out by the waves of passengers alighting. And the way the announcement says "Sala Daeng Station" is rather gay. It sounds more like "Sala There~".

Did I mention that it was bloody cold?! I packed clothes, picturing a sunny Thailand where T-shirts and berms were ideal. But no! Fortunately I was wearing jeans and my jacket over my shirt, so I was relatively warm! The weather totally caught us unprepared!

The hotel we stayed in was Ascott. And it looked rather classy! Much more impressive than Penang. Only thing I did not like was that it was in the middle of the business district. It's like planting a hotel in the middle of Raffles Place. While waiting for Jeff to get the cards to our apartment, they served us some green drink that was super sweet. I think I got diabetes just from drinking it. The apartment was really nice! CR and I somehow picked the master bedroom unknowingly, so yeah. We put down our stuff, took some cash, and headed out!

We had lunch first at this place that sold all kinds of food. I ate Japanese curry! Yum yum! We then had dessert at Swensens. The awesome thing is that most of the stuff in Bangkok is cheaper, so the ice-cream was really cheap. Plus, the Swensens in Bangkok only sold desserts. The guys tried some Burnout game in the arcade, thinking that it could play multiplayer, but they were wrong! Fortunately it was super cheap! There were a lot of cheap stuff, and so began our shopping! After shopping we wanted to kill time before going for dinner, so we went bowling.

Dinner was at some seafood restaurant which was really good! For the first time in my life I see why crab is so nice to eat! The food there was really nice, and we ate till we were close to puking. That evening we spent it figuring out where all our money went. It was rather messy, and we decided to take down whatever we purchased the rest of the trip. Also, I persuaded the guys to buy some hair dye to dye our hair, but we failed. Our hair had to change. I think it's because it was meant for one person, but we shared among three of us. Because we were exhausted, we did not play any drinking games or anything. We watched some television and went to sleep!

-------------------------------------------------------

Shit. This is tedious! I'll write day 2 tomorrow or something! If I try to write it all tonight, I'll just anyhow write!

I heard that the creator of Pokemon was one of the casualties of the Tsunami :(

P3P

Yesterday I downloaded this game called Persona 3 Portable for my PSP. It came out last year, and I heard good ratings for it, but I never bothered to try it. Which I kind of regret right now. Because this game is really good!

Image 4
Like Valkyria Chronicles 2 this is a Japanese game that is in English, and converted with effort. I like these kind of games. You get to enjoy Japanese games yet understand what the hell is happening. This is a role-playing game, where you take your protagonist to the Tartaraus during the Dark Hour to explore it and kill monsters with your allies. You can choose whether to choose the guy or girl at the beginning, and I wanted to choose the gal, but the game said it was for experienced players. The guy is just as cool, so no problem! I really like his hair!

Image 13
The idea of Dark Hour is rather cool. Dark Hour always occur at midnight, meaning every day has more than 24 hours actually. And the Dark Hour gives you this eerie atmosphere, kind of like Silent Hill, just not as confusing. The main fun of this game is your Persona. Think of it as your weapon/guardian/Pokemon, and you can have several! I'm only at the beginning of the game so I only got 3 starting Persona. Like Pokemon, Persona can gain EXP and level up to learn more skills. The best thing about them though, is that you can fuse 2 or more together to form new Persona. There's a total of 170 Persona in the game, meaning your variety is a lot.

Image 1
Also, you attend school during the day and socialise with people. This game ensures you socialise, because your social link with people tend to help your Persona. Your actions will or will not help with your academics, courage and (can't remember last one). You can work part-time at malls to earn some cash, and you can buy weapons and armor for your characters at the police station.

File:Persona 3 AD.jpg
I've only played a bit, so it could be still too early to rate this game. But with what I've already played so far, I'm in love with the game. I spent the whole night playing until 3am!

Building From Scratch

Wow. Finding a female vocalist is really hard. I scanned through SOFT and Youtube, but it's really hard to find anyone. I've already found potential lead and rhythm guitarists, and drummer should not be much of an issue. I've already decided to form a band purely doing Hey Monday, and posted on SOFT since the weekend. Why? Because Hey Monday was what inspired me to jam in the first place. Back to basics, if I call it. Genre is too wide, I need to narrow down to music taste. I'll get people with identical music taste and we shall move off from there!

Catching Up

Not been blogging for many days. Tsk. Better update now since I've nothing else to do!

Saturday went to Padang with my mom's side, and had dinner at this awesome place! All the hokkien mee, chicken wings, omelette... damn good! And the band performing at the Mosiac was really inspiring too!

Sunday was IT show! And Razor sure knows how promote their goods.lol Had some Japanese buffet, which was mostly spamming beef and ice cream! The ice cream machine was quite a hassle. Only one machine, and you need to get one of the staff to serve you the ice cream. Plus, Only a few servings can be taken before "need to wait for ice cream to be ready. It's too soft." It's suppose to be all you can eat -.- And our way home was rather...delayed! All thanks to CR suggesting taking taxi, which all went downhill from there! XD

Went down to Yishun yesterday to meet my army friends and play lan. On the way home, this lady took bus 969 and sat beside me. Apparently she mistook the bus to be 169, because as the bus was heading towards Tampines on the expressway she asked me where the bus was heading. And the thing about bus 969 is that there were no stops from Yishun area all the way to Tampines. But I would not blame her. The bus numbers tend to be difficult to decipher. Even I need to look really carefully at the bus number, which has all its digits mashed together. And that poor lady stays at AMK.

Gathering the pieces. 2 left.

Another Friday

Squash yesterday! Rushed over after driving to meet the guys at 1pm, but I did not know that the meeting time was pushed to later. At least I got to read some comics at the library at White Sands! There were more comics than expected. I thought there would be very few comics since so many students went there to hang out, and probably would take all the comics. Plus, finally got volume 2 of Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai!

After squash went for dinner! And an after-dinner! LOL

Yesterday DotA was epic. Wizzed saved the day! Never seen all of us gang heroes so much! Most satisfying match ever :)

"Alan! Alan! Alan!"

Had a really freaky dream last night. Kind of like Silent Hill kind. Until now, the images are fresh in my head. The dark bathroom, the disfigured creatures, the woman who got her neck snapped while on the chair, the running on the fence... if I were good at drawing, I would sketch it all out. Maybe I'll do so later...

I just realised my Cabal character from before is level 38! So high! I can continue it, but I decide not to.

Walk On The Wild Side is hilarious! I've only watched two episodes and so far it's good! However, there were some repeated ones, so that is some minus points. The Harry Potter joke was damn funny! And the series started with... "Alan! Alan! Alan!" LOL

I was listening to Avril Lavigne's new song on radio, and I think it's because they keep playing it on the radio, but I'm starting to like the song. Okay, maybe not like, more of not dislike the song as much.

Keep failing at the same SWAT 4 mission. Frustrating :<

Good Isn't God

Okay. Took hours to download Maple Story, and when I finally wanted to play it there was some problem when updating. I did not bother to try a second time because I could not be bothered to. Ended up playing Cabal Online.

I do not understand why drivers on the road are so impatient. Today while driving on the road, I saw a lot of idiots swerving in and out of lanes, horning for no reason, etc. Kind of reminds me of those gamers who, just because they are good, can talk like they are king of the world. Seriously, why do people think that they are so good they are almighty? Maybe it's just Singaporeans...

Yesterday's The Noose episode was hilarious! Although I think the overseas newscasters are quite redundant.

Shall move my ass out of the house tomorrow!

Last Thoughts

It's quite frustrating to see your torrent download reach 98% and suddenly stop. Considering it took me some time to find the torrent. I want to download it, but that means I have to find the torrent all over again, which I'm quite lazy to do.

Need to apply for SMU special term tomorrow!

I should blog more often. I've been blogging less and less recently.

Just Gotta Love It

Justice League never fails to be entertaining! And found a website with loads of comic scans! Nice!

There was a Justice League movie planned a couple of years back, which got scrapped. And I found out Megan Gale was supposed to be Wonder Woman in it. Although I think making the Justice League into a movie is quite hard. How will they make the costumes look good? (Just see Superman Returns!)

Wonder Woman: "And what's wrong with the way I dress?!"
Flash: "Uh... you wanna take that?"

Superman: "What's with them?"
Green Lantern: "Man. For somebody with like 50 different kinds of vision, you are so blind."

Day After Day

Finally added all my new songs from the computer into my iTunes! However, that was probably the second most productive thing I did today, the first being driving lesson. Somehow, there were less hot girls today. Or maybe I'm just not in the mood to look at girls today.

Saturday was some performance by the guitar teacher of Kenny and Jeff. The food was okay, and I have to enjoy it either way considering the price. As for the performance, I kind of did not really listen to them. Heh. My mind was elsewhere I guess.

Mash up Mondays on Youtube is awesome! Hearing Neon Trees do "Baby" and Hey Monday doing "In My Head" is nice! Love these two bands a lot! Plus, all those new anime songs to add to my collection! :D

You know what I really miss most right now? My army friends.

Today,
Is just another day,
Like every other day,
Simply a day.

Blogging Is Dying

Should I give tuition? I'm not sure I'm ready to take responsibility for someone's academic results, for fear of failing.

Driving has never been better! I'm "one" with the car now! LOL

Nowadays, there's nothing much to blog anymore. Probably because I'm too busy playing DotA. In fact, I've just been playing games the entire week, which is quite pathetic of me. Shall get out more once my ass recovers from the squash! Cannot wait to play again! Better fix the handle first though.

I think I need a lot of sleep to make up for all the late nights =3=

What's left to talk,
About this life I'm in?

Another Day Gone

Today's driving was fruitful! I was kind of late, and today I got a different driving instructor. Yet, he helped me with the problems I've been having since day 1, and I feel like I learnt a lot from him! Too bad he's not my instructor... at one of the turning I would have done it properly if I was not distracted by this other learner. I was just stunned by her looks, and I'm pretty sure she saw me looking at her. I turned my attention back to the road a bit too late and turned too late.

Saw Jeff at the driving centre! We took the same time slot so we ended at the same time! Got lunch and headed to CR's place. Shall learn Allergo Cantabile Sound piano piece! That shall be my goal in my piano lessons! Today I finally tried playing both hands simultaneously. Cannot wait to practise again tomorrow!

Went Katong Laksa for dinner with the usual, and I must say I love the laksa! Apart from the fact that there are prawns in it, I never recall laksa being this awesome! Now I'm in love with it! Even though I'm several years late. Played lan after many weeks of not going there, and we got thrashed in Left4Dead. We have not been thrashed so badly before. But I kind of had fun scolding the crap out of the people for fun... we are always quiet or polite online, I just want to be a dick and scold everything over nothing for fun once in a while.

Recently had a dream with her in it. Second one ever. And as usual, it has her saying she loves me, which makes me happy in the dream, but stabs in when I wake up. "Because I love you". I wonder how it feels to hear it.

Beautiful,
Is what you are,
In my eyes,
And in my heart.

Squashed

Woke up super early for squash yesterday! We were to meet at 9am at White Sands, and in the end everyone were late. I too was late, although I was earliest in the group. I went to Burger King first to grab breakfast, and I found out you must pay extra to add the hashbrowns to your meal. What the hell? That totally sucks. Like how KFC online ordering prevents you from ordering fries. What's wrong with delivering fries?

Squash was fun! Although I need more practice, I kind of got the hang of it already. I think squash is kind of a dying sport, where it was really popular with my parents' time and less in my time. The Red Bull/Coke mix was crazy! It was like my eyes switched to "high beam" or something!

We played squash till afternoon, then jumped into the pool to cool off. I had no intention of swimming prior to yesterday, but after sweating so much, and seeing that the pool was so tempting, I just swam. Only problem is, I had my contacts on, so I could not dive, for fear of getting my contacts washed away. At one point we saw the male toilet door closed, with the "Cleaning in Progress" sign in front of it. After a while, I saw the sign still there, the door opened, a cleaning auntie mopping the floor, and an uncle  leaving the toilet. Wasn't the toilet closed? Unless... they were doing "it"! Haha

We had very late lunch at White Sands before going home. We were too exhausted to hang out, and just met up online at night to DotA.

It messed me up
Need a second to breathe
Just keep coming around
Hey, whataya want from me
