Finished watching Valkyria Chronicles today! Such a nice anime! But killing Isara is just brutal... in fact killing so many of them is quite sad:( Moving on to Family Guy season 8, and I must say it is damn funny! Even made fun of Big Bang Theory! Nice (Y) Big Bang Theory is... bearable, to say the least.

Snapping Business

When I went down to the casting today I expected there to be people waiting for their turn, but it turned out I was the only one. And all they needed was some shots of me which took less than 15 mins! HAHA I spent more time travelling than casting. Oh well, nobody said that the first would be the best! I walked past this room that was preparing for a photoshoot for some group, which made me wonder... maybe the band should do a photoshoot! Like how those other local bands do. It would be nice, and very fun! Maybe end of the year, when we do our first gig!

And the lady there was not too friendly. When I went there, I went up the stairs to find people since the first level was vacant. Then she reprimanded me for going up, saying it's strictly prohibited. How am I to know? Then she took my photos in such a PMS-manner. Sheesh. It really irks me to see such unfriendly people.

Speaking of photoshoot, I was thinking of learning how to take photos for portfolios. Then I'll ask around for people whether they want their own personal portfolio for fun. Not for modelling agencies, but one for themselves. I'll offer low prices for the photoshoot because I'd do it more for the fun of photography than the money. So, if anyone wants to have their own personal portfolios or nice, proper photos taken approach me! I've got a DSLR, loads of ideas and concepts to use, and an interest to snap beautiful shots! Maybe for...$20? :D

I went to walk around Plaza Singapura and finally Iron Man 2 DVD is out! When I looked at it to see what special features it had, there was none. Which changed my mind about buying it. After so long and the movie comes out just like that? Booo.

When I walk into shops, people in the store tend to approach me and ask, "May i help you?" or "Are you looking for anything?" Worse, they ask in Chinese. Okay, I know it's part of their job to offer assistance to customers, but I kind of find it irritating. I mean, I just want to stroll around. If I needed help I'd approach you. Sometimes I'd wear big headphones just to pretend I cannot hear them. Another irritating thing about the people working there is that they follow you and eye your every movement, in case I steal something. Look, I know it is a dangerous world out there, so put cameras or some security stuff! If you wanted to look at me like that I might as well ask you to pay per view. Even animals don't get scrutinized at so badly.

Recently I was watching an episode of the local show, The Pupil. That episode showed a case where a woman accused a guy for posting on his blog about their seemingly-awesome romp one night that cost her her job. She denied it from happening, while he tried to assure the judge he did not make it up. "Who knew that so many people were reading my blog?" I like that statement. I wonder how many people reads my blog. I should have some... visitor counter or something to show how many people visits my blog! It would be interesting to know!

My Chemical Romance new album is coming out! Cannot wait any longer! "Na Na Na" is already addictive!

And HIMYM episode 2 is out! Barney never fails to be so damn funny! But I feel sad for him. Rather touching end to the episode :)

Long Break At Long Last

It's Tuesday morning and I'm blogging from home! That's because I'm on off from today till Friday! Saturday I've duty if not it'd be a long weekend till Sunday! Oh well, enjoy the little things! :)

Sunday night was horrible. I was so hungry but there was no food in camp... and sleeping on a stupid chair sucked :( Fortunately Monday passed rather fast because everyone went home, leaving only the duty crew in camp! Sleep, PSP, television... that was my duty for yesterday :D Went to rest in the evening but ended up in a deep sleep until 1am! My friends' tried to contact me and ask if I wanted anything(I wanted a Double Cheeseburger so badly), but I was too asleep to notice my phone's ringing. Damn.

A nice long break! Time to spend some quality time with my bass! And got to leave the house soon to try out for some advertisement. Though they just want to see your arm, if I get it I'll get $80! haha Cash for having an arm that looks good is easy money!

Need to go run more! I want my legs to be so thin, I can wear women's jeans. Yeah, that skinny :)

Fear Technology

Today went gym with Kenny and Jeff! Feels good to do a long run and various exercises to keep my body fit! On the way to Parkway Parade for lunch, they were discussing about how Earth can be protected by the sun. Their idea was to put solar panels around the planet, and a glass dome which provides us with air-condition. They mentioned it will also help to give us shade from the sun, which my first thought was, didn't someone umbrellas? And then came the thought.

Do you remember the movie Wall-E? The small robot who looked so cute roaming around the future Earth. In the movie, humans were all obese because technology made Life so convenient that food would appear so easily, socialising could be done without having to meet face-to-face, and walking was no longer needed. Because of technology, humans were pampered and our species became the next pigs. Sure, now it seems technology does not seem to affect us in that manner, but we are somewhat heading that direction. More MRT stations are appearing around Singapore (which helps to reduce car population on the roads, yet means we walk less), computers have online socialising programs like Skype for people to chat, people can do their work from home (heck, even kids can study from school, eg. E-learning)... We are relying on technology too much, expecting it to make our lives more convenient. But we can never be satisfied until we end up like those pigs in Wall-E. Trust me, humans will not know when to draw the line between "useful for us" and "do everything for us". Imagine, people in the past would be glad to have umbrellas to provide shade from the sun, yet now we wish for something better than umbrellas.

Do you all recall the advertisement in cinemas before a movie starts, which discourages piracy? It's about a boy who never knew what a cinema was, because everyone kept downloading movies. Today on the bus I saw this man sitting a few rows in front of me looking through some recently developed photos. That made me realised: when was the last time I ever touched a developed photo? Nowadays, photos are snapped with a digital camera, which is plugged into the computer, and sent to others or uploaded on sites like Facebook. Seldom do we bother developing photos and putting them into albums for memory sake anymore. Honestly, when was your most recent photo album developed? How many years ago? Heck, even my modelling portfolio is a CD. We enjoy how good technology has made our lives become, but I'd really enjoy holding a photo album of my happy times then turning on the computer just to browse them.

When people say that  "machines will rule the world", it's not because they become intelligent lifeforms and invade us, but rather because we fall at the hands of human laziness and over-reliance on machines...

Tried watching TBBT, but again I did not enjoy the show. The jokes related to stuff I had no idea what they were. Like the episode I watched. The 4 geeks were sitting at the restaurant that Penny worked at, and were discussing some battle. All the armies they mentioned left me clueless. All I understood was Superman, Godzilla and the Hulk. Sure, call me stupid for being unable to understand the jokes, but I'm smart enough to prefer humor not requiring brains. Gosh, television is for enjoyment! If I wanted to think I'd go look at stocks on television. HIMYM ftw!

Today started when I blogged this morning, and I only slept for 3 hours or so. Went to practise my songs for jamming and fell in love with Youth Group's Forever Young thanks to G!haha

Jamming was totally good today! We practised our 4 originals and boy do I love it! Awesome awesome awesome! Aim for our first gig, with sponsors! Woots!

HIMYM Is Back!!!

Yesterday met up with the CR gang for supper! And boy was the walk from CR's place to Lagoon food centre at East Coast Park long! Turned out we all grabbed a bite before meeting up, so we did not plan to order much. But was that huge plate of fried rice shocking! Tried our best to finish it with some card games!

HIMYM season 6 starts with a bang! The first episode is so hilarious! So great to have the new season out already!

If you readers have noticed, my blogging frequency has reduced this half of the year, as compared to the first half! Well, mostly it's because I'm getting lazy or too exhausted to blog. And typing on iPod Touch is no joke. Plus, when I get home I tend to forget what to write about or feel to tired to bother writing (like now!).

Because this Sunday is duty for F1, we had a mock duty on Tuesday, which meant moving out on Monday night. What a way to start the week after audit! And I dread the mock duties, because the practices are grueling, and the hot sun only makes it "grilling" too. I swear I felt BBQ-ed that day! Plus, I lacked sleep due to all the running around. But it's over now, that's all that matters.

Wednesday night we went for night's out and played lan! One of my friend's friend was scolding me in-game for being so lousy at the game, which i thought to myself, I never said I as good. And I realised I tend to be like that when I play with noob players in L4D. That's why I've stopped scolding noob players and try helping them instead. If you cannot take it, just leave.

Today was rather slack! We spent most of our time resting, with me and my friends playing Phantasy Star Portable 2 on PSP. Really fun game once you get the hang of it! But I must finish my Valkyria Chronicles 2 game first. Then there's Kingdom Hearts that I want to play... so many PSP games coming out during this period! God Eater and Monster Hunter 3 is on the way!

Duty month starts next Monday! And I've got 3 weekend days with duty, which means 3 weekends burned... :(

Today's jamming was spectacular! We covered 4 originals, and they are really fun to jam! Gives you the adrenaline rush! Missed jamming so much!

After jamming was supposed to be lunch at McDonalds, but I had to rush down to the PSP repair shop which is located at the Army Market! So glad to fix my analog stick and the X button! And the lady who repaired it was really good at it! She probably knew PSPs inside out! I hope the shop does not go away! If not my PSP would be dead!

My mom decided to drive me down to the PSP shop despite being busy. I thanked her and realised how much she has done for me. Like when I didn't have dinner because of lan and I felt rather pissed for not listening to myself, she bothered to make some noodles for me. In fact, she saved my ass more times than I could imagine. When I look back, I realised how thankful I should be.


I was looking through the particulars forms of the people in Alpha Battery and I saw some amazing stuff. Like how someone put sex as one of his hobbies, and someone's surname is You. Now I'm not trying to be mean here, but imagine if an instructor scolds a soldier called You. "EH, NG! KNOCK IT DOWN!" is better than "EH, YOU! KNOCK IT DOWN!" Or "WHERE IS NG?" sounds ok while "WHERE IS YOU?" just sounds hilarious.


And my friend just added some girl using my Facebook account. Nice one.

Valkyria Chronicles 2

What a long week! The audit made the whole week drag so long, but it's finally over! Halfway through all my army crap! Now's left with F1 duty and one outfield before the year comes to a close!

After being in Chong Pang Camp for nearly a year, I only tried the Chong Pang Nasi Lemak yesterday. Tasty! (Y)

Seriously, some people in my camp just disgust me.



I've been playing this new game on PSP, called Valkyria Chronicles 2. And I have to admit it is a really spectacular game! It's a tactical RPG game. And considering I'm not a fan of turn-based games, this game makes me feel otherwise! The gameplay, the characters, the plot... this game does not seem to disappoint in any way! If I were to rate it out of 10, I'd give it a 20!

Time to jam this weekend! :)

Have you watched The Back-up Plan? And at the beginning, the lady was thinking about having a baby that she saw babies everywhere? Well, I think I got something like that. Well, I do not see babies. I see couples. Like, I notice couples. A hundred hot girls can walk by but I'll notice a couple. I guess I'm really lovesick :/

Today's half marathon was... pointless. Though I did meet up with Rosh and we walked the entire 6km! At least the whole thing was not a waste of time! Had lunch with my army friends after that.

Booking in spoils the mood, but Domino's pizza makes it all better!

I did not know Zara had stuff for guys. Which is damn cool! Must shop at Zara one day! Hopefully there'll be end of year sale... :D

I'm A Barber Boi

Let's see. I came home this morning( cab fare was crazy), installed my game, went gym, swim at my place, go Sim Lim just to get CR a charger for his iPod Touch, now dinner with family at Shabu Shabu, then go to Kenny's place for overnight, and go to the marathon thing tomorrow morning. Oh, and book in tomorrow night.

I'm so sleepy now. Give me 10 quiet minutes and I'd have gone to dream world.

Gym was good. I ran, trained my arms and core, trained more arms and core, did some walking... Bottom line is, I got to sweat it out! Feels good to hit the gym again!

Swimming with the usual company was fun! And we were talking about the Pokemon game and looking at some girl walk her dog.( Wonder were they looking at the dog or her?) The guys came up to my place after that and CR tried my Transformers game. Not before he put my huge Spider-man in an obscene pose... Hope the Milo drink is not expired!

The guys were so hungry that they ate Old Chang Kee at Kembagnan MRT station before going to Sim Lim. We took so long to go there and it took us 10mins to get his charger -.-

There was this moment on the bus back to Marine Parade. This father and daughter( she's probably older than us), got on to the bus and you know how people tend to prefer sitting alone. You'll see the seats all being half-filled because nobody would choose to sit with someone over sitting alone. Thing is, there was this only one seat at the back half of the bus, so the father let his daughter sit. And because there was no other available seat behind, hence he went in front. Which made me feel guilty. I could have given up the seat to someone who deserved it more than me in more ways than one. I felt so bad about being so inconsiderate, makes me hate myself for being so thoughtless.

Went to cut my hair at Joemil's! Thank God it's open! Love my new haircut! Bought a cardigan and a belt from 77th Street, along with a magnetic ear ring for fun. Really want to pierce my left ear when I get the chance!

I decided not to go Kenny's place because I'm really tired. Plus I think I'd have nothing much to do since I've eaten already.

Can We Not Be Friends?

I actually planned to blog tomorrow, when I'm at home, but since I'm waiting for Star Wars Episode 1 to air on Channel 5, I'll blog now.

Firstly, why does Channel 5 air only 4 of the six movies today? And even so, at least start from episode 1. I do not exactly get the big deal of the Star Wars movies. It looks so old, despite de edited scenes. I swear the edited scenes are rather obvious. Also, they like to end in an anti-climax kind of way. Like in the second movie it ends with Luke finding out Darth Vader is his father, and that Leia is his sister. (The word "incest" probably hit him quite hard.) And Han Solo is frozen. Sure it creates the base for the sixth film, but at least have some ending! Also, I laughed within the first 15mins of the fourth film. Darth Vader walked in, and with his hands on his hips, started at the dead guards around him. Which looked really hilarious for a powerful dark, cold villian! I'll put up a picture of that scene when I find it.

Why am I so bored as to watch TV the whole day? Well, because while everyone are celebrating Hari Raya, or enjoying the public holiday, I'm doing duty. Which is not TOO bad considering I will not get duty on some important holiday like Christmas.

I know I've not been blogging often recently, but it's because of the huge pile of work I had to do for next week's audit check thing. It's not that I have a lot of stuff to complete, but rather my sergeant keeps changing stuff. For instance, he told me to remove some sections from my files. After looking through the files after that he tells me to file it back it. Seriously, dude. If he went any further to make my life unnecessarily difficult I'd just tell him off. Staff sergeant, so?

Then there are people who just do not take the hint. Resect is mutual; show me some and I give you some. Right now, you are just another person I see in camp. After office hours, we are strangers.

I was thinking of extending my ORD date. I mean, being paid $800 a month is not too bad considering the amount of work I actually have. But more importantly are the friends I have there. Sure they are operators, but rank is only played by the childish. My friends in camp are really something else. Sure I'm younger than all of them, but we see one another as equals. The fun we have together, the raping we do and see, the shit we go through together, the PSP games we play together, the stupid stuff we do and laugh about after that are all something I'll miss once I ORD. Army may suck, but at least the friends there make it suck less.

And there's some new obstacle course. In fact, NS seems to be going through a lot of changes. For instance, the route marches will now be done in mainland instead of Tekong. Everyone's talking about the new obstavle course and how easy it is compared to ours.

It's going to be a really busy next two weeks for me :(

I (kinda) want to watch Resident Evil: Afterlife and Vampires Suck!

When I go home, I'm going to try out my Transformers: War For Cybertron game! Too bad my internet is too lousy for online play. Sounds like it can be played like those games such as COD MW2.

And Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 is in the making! Trailer looks sweet! Plus, I saw the trailer for DC Universe Online. And it looks really cool, despite it showing the heroes getting killed by the Injustice League. Doubt I'll play that game though.

To have a sponsor for clothes for gigs sounds really cool!!! Makes me want our first gig to come even sooner!

I'm A Sinner; I'm No Saint

People are deceptive. If they have some issues with someone, they are able to hide it behind a smile. People somehow try to hide their ugly side from you until it finally slips out. Majority do not even know they have an ugly side, which is being noticed by everyone. I'm going to open up, for those who care or give a damn, because I don't care if anyone don't.

How do people hide their disdain towards a guy from him? It's like putting up an act in front of him to make sure he does not know how much you suck to him. I try to see through the masks people wear, but it has clouded me. I start to feel paranoid, and trust turns to doubt. I tend to trust people too easily. And when people abuse the trust, even if it's for a small prank, I would never trust that person fully ever again. I'd doubt his every word, because I shall not fall for the same trick twice.

I just cannot understand how people can live with the "cloak and dagger" thing around. Is there anyone who you know you can trust to read his feelings and thoughts like an open book, instead of doubting him? I wish life would be that simple. If I could read minds I might not like what I'd find.

When people point out your flaws, do you actually take action? Do you even notice your flaws? Do you try to change yourself to become a better person? My flaws haunt me. I always try to rectify my flaws yet they keep resurfacing. Do you wish you could control yourself, and not turn ugly? Take for instance my temper. Ever since I entered NS there were times I lost my cool. To the extent where I wish I could snap the guy's neck and break his spine to cripple him. When I've calmed down I'd look back in disgust of myself and reflect on my weakness. I don't want to flare up. I try not to. But once you snap, calm is the last thing you'd give a shit to. I'm afraid. I'm afraid this continues in the future. What of I lose my cool at my wife in future? What if I hurt someone? As much as I hate resorting to violence, what if I get out of hand? Sometimes, the greatest fear you should fear is yourself.

Have you ever been called big-headed? Egoistic? I think these kind of people will seldom realise that they are. When I was in secondary school some friends have called me that. Honestly, till today, I do not see what I've done that made me be considered big headed. But then I feared I would really be egoistic, hence since then I've watched what I said. Except when I speak my mind, which is another flaw all together.

How is it I have so many flaws while others don't? Either I'm really fucked up or I just don't notice their flaws. I wish we people are not so complex in nature. I wish things were simpler.

I want to change. I really do. I hope I can. For my family, my friends, my future, myself.

Btw, why are there so many muslim families travelling tonight? On buses and on trains. Isn't Hari Raya next week?

Played lan with the usual today! Don't know why they so shocked I simply bought one veg and one meat for my rice! To me, dinner is the last meal of the day and least needed. I mean, we do not actually require much energy at night. That is, if you plan to just sleep. I don't want to grow fat! Wonder why some people say my legs skinny enough. No no no no! Need to run!

L4D was usual. At least we got to play to the end! Thanks strangers for not leaving! Counter-Strike was hectic. At first we played among ourselves, then we crashed another game. They then changed map to thrash us but we managed to be on par! Thanks to our teamwork! Seriously the CS felt more like SWAT 4.

Friends can come and go; but true friends fit with you like a jigsaw puzzle.

Had acoustic session at my poolside today. So hot! Bad idea. And no hot neighbors around :D

Zombie Madness

Takashi Komuro

A 17 year old sophomore high school student. Takashi and Rei are childhood friends who are in the same class. He has loved her ever since she made a childhood promise to marry him when they were older. However, due to Takashi's indecisiveness, Rei found comfort in their friend, Hisashi. As a result, their friendship was damaged. He was one of the first people to notice that something was wrong in the school and quickly took action to escape with his friends. His relationship with Rei was shaken further when he was forced to kill Hisashi after he had turned into a zombie. Rei accused Takashi of killing him because he was jealous of their relationship. When Takashi was going to leave Rei behind, Rei quickly rescinded her words and apologized. They hugged and their relationship was amended.

Though initially depicted as a poor student who often skips class, he's proven to be a very reliable and capable person. He has resolved to protect everyone, especially Rei, despite his own feelings of inadequacy. With this resolve, he has taken up the role as leader of the group. Saya Takagi has mentioned that he and Kohta are most likely to snap if things continue. He used a Baseball Bat for a while, then recovers a Smith & Wesson Model 37 from a dead cop, and later finds a Ithaca 37.

Rei Miyamoto 

Classmate of Takashi Komuro. They have known each other since kindergarten. When they were young, Rei promised to marry him when they were older. She has loved him ever since but because of Takashi's indecisiveness, he was never able to honestly return her feelings. Heartbroken, she sought comfort in their friend, Hisashi, and ignoring Takashi at the same time in hopes of forgetting the pain. Rei was furious when Takashi killed Hisashi, even though he turned into a zombie. However, when Takashi was about to leave her behind, she quickly apologized and they amended their relationship.

Rei doesn't find it above herself to reprimand Takashi for acting carelessly. She worries about his well-being whenever he goes to fight "them". Rei has also proven to be a skilled combatant through the use of sojutsu ("Spear Techniques") and strong asset to the group.

Initially in the same year as Saeko, Rei was held back despite being an excellent student. Her father - a police detective - had been investigating the corruption behind the father of Shido, one of the teachers at her school. As a result, Shido purposefully failed her so she would have to repeat a grade. Rei bears a lasting grudge against him and feels uneasy whenever he's around.

Although Rei dated Hisashi, her feelings for Takashi never disappeared. In chapter 12, Rei shamefully admits that she dated Hisashi because he was cute and cared for her but says it is different now. She finally understands Takashi's personality and confesses that it is his selfless nature that she fell in love with. Rei also professes that she would do anything to be with him. Like Saya, Rei gets irritated whenever Takashi spends alone time with Saeko, even if they are fighting "them". As her feelings intensifies, her flirting has also become more aggressive on several occasions. She uses a Spear made from a broken Broom and later a M1A Rifle with a Bayonet attached.

Saeko Busujima

A high school senior and president of the school's kendo club, she is extremely skilled at close combat with a bokken. Calm and collected with a sense of pride in her skills, Saeko is among the most reliable of the group. Everyone can count on her combat skills to pull them through a crisis. Not much is known about her family except for her father who had traveled abroad on a self-defense conference before the advent of the Outbreak. Saya's father, Souichirou Takagi, tells Saeko that her father once gave him guidance so to repay the favor, he gives her a very powerful sword, crafted in the Tokyo armory by General Murata during the Meiji Era.

Four years prior to the story, an assailant attacked Saeko. Armed with her bokken, she easily disposed of him, breaking several of his bones before the police came. Although it was claimed to be self-defense, this experience revealed her sadistic tendencies. Ever since the incident, she continually struggles with this part of her personality, which causes momentary weaknesses in her otherwise strong demeanor. After telling Takashi her story and encountering a group of "them" afterwards, Saeko considers, for a second, letting herself get killed. However, Takashi stops her and confesses his admiration for her, restoring her confidence and resolve. After this, she accepts her sadistic tendencies and promises to fight alongside Takashi. She also tells him that he needs to take responsibility for actions as a result of this, which he agrees to.

Saeko has faith in Takashi's ability to lead the group through a crisis. After Saya Takagi mentions that Takashi and Kohta are the most likely to "lose it and become a danger to themselves", Saeko simply replies that she will be there to remind them that she is of the female sex. She is later given a Katana by Saya's father.

Saya Takagi

Making her escape with fellow classmate Kohta Hirano, she is the daughter of an influential Uyoku dantai politician and her family is deeply involved in Japan's politics. A self-proclaimed genius, Saya's knowledge and deductive capabilities have allowed the group to escape from harm many times. She was among the first to conclude that "they" were attracted to only sound. Despite coming from a prestigious family, she despises her parents whom she thought had given up on finding her in this crisis. However, Saya was able to amend their relationship before leaving the mansion.

Slightly self-conscious, she detests the fact people, due to her status, only call her by her last name and never look her in the eyes when speaking to her. The only exceptions to this are Kohta, who she has a unique friendship with, and Takashi, who is her childhood friend. Saya acts as a mother figure to Alice in this crisis. Although Saya insists Alice calls her with the suffix "-sama", Saya has grown very attached to Alice. She does her best to keep intact Alice's innocence and will severely scold anyone who would dare attempt to tarnish it to any degree.

Saya is also a childhood friend of Takashi. Saya is hinted to have romantic feelings for Takashi but doesn't flirt with him as much as Rei does. However, she does get annoyed whenever Saeko gets close to Takashi. She uses a Drill, and a Luger P08 pistol

Kohta Hirano

A 16-year old sophomore student who was often bullied in school, Kohta is a gun otaku (enthusiast) and knows the ins and outs of the firearms and any military-related equipment that the group comes across. Basically, he functions as the group's long-range combat specialist. His skills as a marksman has proven to be an invaluable asset to keeping everyone alive. On a one-month trip to America, he was trained by the US military contractor, Blackwater USA, which furthered his obsession with weapons.

At the beginning of the story, his abilities helped Saya Takagi escape danger. Kohta has a crush on Saya and asked her out on various occasions only to be rejected. However, she does care for his well being. His crush has since ended and he has developed deep feelings for the police officer trainee, Asami Nakaoka. Because the feelings are mutual, they have expressed their love for each other and Kohta even managed to convince her to join the group. Kohta has also grown attached to Alice and will often be found playing with her. He also has a strong desire to protect her innocence.

Unfortunately, he was forced to kill Asami Nakaoka when she risks her life to save a person in danger and gets trapped between a big number of "them". She personally asks him to kill her so that she won't become a zombie and cause pain to others around her. Kohta later finds himself in horror for what he did and tries to get himself killed by them, though with the help of Shizuka-sensei, he overcomes this pain. With this situation, Takashi realizes that if one member of the group dies, everyone will die in a matter of hours.

Since Kohta doesn't know any form of close-combat techniques, he uses a supply of different firearms such as a modified Nail Gun, AR-10 and the Smith & Wesson Model 37 that Takashi used before.

Shizuka Marikawa

A single 26-year old woman and the school nurse at Fujimi High School. At the beginning of the story, Shizuka was saved by Saeko. She is rather ditsy as compared to the rest of girls. Her large bust size is often used as a comical element in the story. She is close friends with Rika Minani, a sniper of Japan's Special Assault Team. Their home was used as a safe haven for the group after they escaped the high school. Despite being the only adult in the group, she is emotionally fragile and doesn't know what will become of her life. Like the rest of the main characters, Shizuka worries that she will never see her family or friends again.

Even though she's emotionally fragile, Shizuka feels a responsibility to "chaperon" the kids. As a nurse and the only adult in the group, she is responsible for the health of everyone in the group. Although she is still studying to be a full-fledged doctor, Shizuka has shown incredible medical knowledge. She was even able to bring Kohta to his senses after he was forced to kill Asami Nakaoka.

Alice Maresato

Only 7 years old, she was saved from being attacked by several undead by Takashi after her father was killed by members of a household who wouldn't allow them shelter. Innocent and passive, Alice is the only member of the group that maintains a cheerful attitude despite all their troubles and the loss of her parents. Looking up to everyone in the group as a bigger brother and sister, she is unwilling to leave them even if it's for her own safety.

Alice is often seen playing with a small dog named Zeke whom they had picked up while saving Alice and Kohta, to whom she has grown fairly attached. Presiding over her as a mother figure is Saya to whom she has also grown attached. Alice is also bilingual, able to speak in English and Japanese, and maybe multiracial. It was also recently revealed that she was the next door neighbor to Takashi's friend, Imamuru.

Despite being the youngest member of the group, she seems to be able to carry her own burden against "them". In a discussion between Takashi and Kohta, they made to the conclusion that they cannot protect her for long and she will need to learn how to defeat "them". She is yet to have her own weapon, though she did make use of fireworks and poppers that Asami gave to her (using those to distract "them" from attacking the group).

Zeke

Zeke is a dog found by Alice right after "they" started attacking her and Zeke, only to be saved by Takashi. Zeke is very energetic and also intelligent, being able to differentiate the living from the undead. Zeke's role in the group is to provide some company to Alice and to alert them of the undead.

H.O.T.D

Busy busy week. With AAO around the corner, everyone is rushing to get ready, making me do this and that. I'm so tired, yet I do not want to sleep because the time I have at home is limited. Also, I've got duty next Friday, when it is suppose to be Hari Raya. Oh well, at least I did not get a holiday I would celebrate XD

Keep having stomachache the past two days. Why oh why?


Hey Monday's Beneath It All is freaking awesome! So glad I finally got to hear their new songs today!



Oh and I saw my friend watching this new anime, High school of the Dead! And I loved it immediately! The fact that it's a zombie infection storyline is good enough! But I think the anime really exaggerate a lot about the boobs... still, love the anime! And the manga is great too, if not better! I've always wondered what happens if we were to suddenly have a zombie infection going on, and this anime/manga just shows it all!

Playing a new PSP game called Ace Combat and it's rather cool to use the different planes with friends. There are planes like F-15, F-22, Su-27 and more! And you get to customise your plane and it's arsenal. The cockpit view is realistic yet rather hard to use though... had problem making a turn in that view. New games to be coming next week!
