Virus On My Site?

I wanted to go to my blog and Malware told me my site had something potentially harmful. I'm not sure what it is but I doubt it's any big deal. Still, it would suck if I have to make a new blog just because this one is "infected" :(

There are a lot of those Ah Lians who put a lot of make up to look really nice, but guys will only get a rude awakening when they see what lies beneath. I, for one, prefer girls who look beautiful naturally. Let's see why Ah Lians lose out to normal, average girls:

- Ah Lians are evidence that "beauty is only skin deep"
- When you bring your girl home for the night, you see her face and wonder how you brought home the wrong girl
- Her face = high upkeep. If a robber were to rob her home, either steal her cosmetics or her face. Either way, you just hit jackpot.
- She probably needs to wash her face as little as possible to avoid the need to redo her make up
- No going out on rainy days. Water smears make up.
- When she walks towards you in darkness, you wonder if that is her or a pair of headlights heading towards you

Good Turn Bad Is Bad

Because I'm going to be stuck in camp till Sunday morning, I decided to blog in case people think my blog is dead! Let's see...

Last Sunday was jamming! I cannot recall much right now except that we settled a lot of the playing part and I tried my back up vocals parts. And we talked about photoshoots and gigs! The idea of getting prostitutes to carry us sounded hilarious!

I took Monday off and I was so bored. My friends and I were complaining to each other on MSN that we were frigging bored and that talking off was a mistake. Well, I'll tell you a mistake. Not taking Tuesday off.

Tuesday started with a damn run. If I did not decide to wake up early I would not have known about it. Had to bathe in the morning. And I dread cold water. After that we had to clean the hangar, and I spent my time spraying the floor. Next was some aircraft recognition lesson. I was falling asleep half the time, because the lesson was not for me but I had to sit in. Afternoon was training which I was suppose to supervise. Boring...

Wednesday was duty, which meant sleeping the whole day, and watching That '70s Show at 2am in the morning!

Thursday went by like a blur, except for the part where I had to sign 3 extra duties because of "unsatisfied performance" for the audit, recommended by the idiot. Gawd, I hate such people. If the world had a zombie apocalypse, I'd kill him rather than have him on my side. He'd save female survivors, kill us if it means his survival, and then probably rape the ladies for his pleasure. Trust me, he IS that kind of jerk.

That night we had Domino's! A party meal meant for 10 was not nearly enough for 8 of us! Still, good times!

Friday was just tiring. And so the new duty starts today. Rot in camp.

My warrant officer made us do some of the duties meant for the regulars, so that they can "spend more time with their family". I mean, if there is a valid reason, sure. But what I interpret this is, "I use the time you can spend with your family to let the regulars spend more with theirs." Don't treat us NSFs like dirt, will ya?

Today my friends and I were discussing and wondering how we ended up the bad guy of the story. Sure we have every reason to hate his character, but we should not be bad guys. We realised we should take a more mature approach to this. Time to make up for our wrong actions and be better people. But, we still do not like him :P

OMG I love That '70s Show! Well, season 1 at least, because that's how far I've watched. All the cool stars whose journey to fame started from this awesome show! I feel like getting the entire series on DVD! And their fashion is so retro it's beautiful! I want a pair of bell bottoms and grow long hair and sideburns :D

First and foremost, did I mention that there's a Domino's outlet just outside my camp??! Wonderful!!! :D

This whole week was all about sleep and gym, really. I'd join my friends to gym before lunch, though I've been skipping lunch. And after 3 days of gym, plus the training we had on Tuesday, my body is aching! I'm walking around like some old man!

Yesterday I ate my Milo cereal. Bad move. Because since yesterday evening I've gone to the toilet 4 times... Everytime I thought it would be the last fate provese wrong with another stomachache. Damn you cereal!

I just realised how sucky my CS skills have gotten! I somehow got top scorer for DOTA, but when we played CS against bots I lost to Hard bots. I mean, I used to eat Expert bots for breakfast. Looks I got some brushing up to do!

Went out with JY and his friend yesterday! We had a great time at Kbox, even though it was just us three.

Still loving 21Guns :)

I alighted at a bus stop and noticed that the Brand's essence advertisement with the top PSLE student posing in it. I seem to see that every year. I mean, it's not possible that all the top scorers drinks that essence thing. If so I'd had just skipped school and drank that every day. Seriously all this promoting of stuff is rather... stupid. Like how McDonalds' promot YOG or Olympics when it is one of those unhealthy food that the sports people should avoid!

Rush The Week Please

Well, it's going to be a busy week! Or a long one, actually. Let's just get it over and done with.

I've only just reached home from duty and I've to book in tonight already. The word "bummer" kind of sums up my day yesterday.

I was on the train to camp on Friday night and there was this rather attractive Caucasian gal with her other girlfriend standing in the train beside me, and she should watch the way she stand and sway. I do not plan to be wrongly accused for harassment, young lady. But I have to admit, I seldom find Caucasian girls attractive. Hmmm. Either she's really good or Singapore girls are really getting so bad I'm losing interest in locals.LOL

Had a weird dream last night. Wth...

Cannot wait for MCR's new album to come out!

Need sleep, but I do not have the time to do so. Crap.

Well, finally booking in tonight! I must say, I kind of regret taking so many days off. I mean, I had too much free time! I guess you learn to treasure your free time more when you have a limited amount. But to take Tuesday to Friday off was a bit of an overkill, to say the least. But I did watch a lot of shows!

First we have The Big Bang Theory. Wow. I must say, I did not expect myself to last one season of it, but here I am with 2 more episodes before the end of season 1. Do not get me wrong, my friends. I'm not totally enjoying the show. It's just that the sandwiches they eat and all the other food just look so tasty!

I finished Valkyria Chronicles, which is a wonderful anime. Makes me want to get a PS3 just to play the game! Glad I have Valkyria Chronicles 2 all the same...

Obviously, Brian is going through some tough times.

Now I've moved to Family Guy season 8! And I must say, this season is way better than all the seasons I've seen! I literally laughed out loud at certain things! Sure the humor is crude and vulgar at times, but this is another show that is makes me laugh so hard like HIMYM!

I did watch some classic Transformers cartoon too...

Finished watching Valkyria Chronicles today! Such a nice anime! But killing Isara is just brutal... in fact killing so many of them is quite sad:( Moving on to Family Guy season 8, and I must say it is damn funny! Even made fun of Big Bang Theory! Nice (Y) Big Bang Theory is... bearable, to say the least.

Snapping Business

When I went down to the casting today I expected there to be people waiting for their turn, but it turned out I was the only one. And all they needed was some shots of me which took less than 15 mins! HAHA I spent more time travelling than casting. Oh well, nobody said that the first would be the best! I walked past this room that was preparing for a photoshoot for some group, which made me wonder... maybe the band should do a photoshoot! Like how those other local bands do. It would be nice, and very fun! Maybe end of the year, when we do our first gig!

And the lady there was not too friendly. When I went there, I went up the stairs to find people since the first level was vacant. Then she reprimanded me for going up, saying it's strictly prohibited. How am I to know? Then she took my photos in such a PMS-manner. Sheesh. It really irks me to see such unfriendly people.

Speaking of photoshoot, I was thinking of learning how to take photos for portfolios. Then I'll ask around for people whether they want their own personal portfolio for fun. Not for modelling agencies, but one for themselves. I'll offer low prices for the photoshoot because I'd do it more for the fun of photography than the money. So, if anyone wants to have their own personal portfolios or nice, proper photos taken approach me! I've got a DSLR, loads of ideas and concepts to use, and an interest to snap beautiful shots! Maybe for...$20? :D

I went to walk around Plaza Singapura and finally Iron Man 2 DVD is out! When I looked at it to see what special features it had, there was none. Which changed my mind about buying it. After so long and the movie comes out just like that? Booo.

When I walk into shops, people in the store tend to approach me and ask, "May i help you?" or "Are you looking for anything?" Worse, they ask in Chinese. Okay, I know it's part of their job to offer assistance to customers, but I kind of find it irritating. I mean, I just want to stroll around. If I needed help I'd approach you. Sometimes I'd wear big headphones just to pretend I cannot hear them. Another irritating thing about the people working there is that they follow you and eye your every movement, in case I steal something. Look, I know it is a dangerous world out there, so put cameras or some security stuff! If you wanted to look at me like that I might as well ask you to pay per view. Even animals don't get scrutinized at so badly.

Recently I was watching an episode of the local show, The Pupil. That episode showed a case where a woman accused a guy for posting on his blog about their seemingly-awesome romp one night that cost her her job. She denied it from happening, while he tried to assure the judge he did not make it up. "Who knew that so many people were reading my blog?" I like that statement. I wonder how many people reads my blog. I should have some... visitor counter or something to show how many people visits my blog! It would be interesting to know!

And HIMYM episode 2 is out! Barney never fails to be so damn funny! But I feel sad for him. Rather touching end to the episode :)

Long Break At Long Last

It's Tuesday morning and I'm blogging from home! That's because I'm on off from today till Friday! Saturday I've duty if not it'd be a long weekend till Sunday! Oh well, enjoy the little things! :)

Sunday night was horrible. I was so hungry but there was no food in camp... and sleeping on a stupid chair sucked :( Fortunately Monday passed rather fast because everyone went home, leaving only the duty crew in camp! Sleep, PSP, television... that was my duty for yesterday :D Went to rest in the evening but ended up in a deep sleep until 1am! My friends' tried to contact me and ask if I wanted anything(I wanted a Double Cheeseburger so badly), but I was too asleep to notice my phone's ringing. Damn.

A nice long break! Time to spend some quality time with my bass! And got to leave the house soon to try out for some advertisement. Though they just want to see your arm, if I get it I'll get $80! haha Cash for having an arm that looks good is easy money!

Need to go run more! I want my legs to be so thin, I can wear women's jeans. Yeah, that skinny :)

Fear Technology

Today went gym with Kenny and Jeff! Feels good to do a long run and various exercises to keep my body fit! On the way to Parkway Parade for lunch, they were discussing about how Earth can be protected by the sun. Their idea was to put solar panels around the planet, and a glass dome which provides us with air-condition. They mentioned it will also help to give us shade from the sun, which my first thought was, didn't someone umbrellas? And then came the thought.

Do you remember the movie Wall-E? The small robot who looked so cute roaming around the future Earth. In the movie, humans were all obese because technology made Life so convenient that food would appear so easily, socialising could be done without having to meet face-to-face, and walking was no longer needed. Because of technology, humans were pampered and our species became the next pigs. Sure, now it seems technology does not seem to affect us in that manner, but we are somewhat heading that direction. More MRT stations are appearing around Singapore (which helps to reduce car population on the roads, yet means we walk less), computers have online socialising programs like Skype for people to chat, people can do their work from home (heck, even kids can study from school, eg. E-learning)... We are relying on technology too much, expecting it to make our lives more convenient. But we can never be satisfied until we end up like those pigs in Wall-E. Trust me, humans will not know when to draw the line between "useful for us" and "do everything for us". Imagine, people in the past would be glad to have umbrellas to provide shade from the sun, yet now we wish for something better than umbrellas.

Do you all recall the advertisement in cinemas before a movie starts, which discourages piracy? It's about a boy who never knew what a cinema was, because everyone kept downloading movies. Today on the bus I saw this man sitting a few rows in front of me looking through some recently developed photos. That made me realised: when was the last time I ever touched a developed photo? Nowadays, photos are snapped with a digital camera, which is plugged into the computer, and sent to others or uploaded on sites like Facebook. Seldom do we bother developing photos and putting them into albums for memory sake anymore. Honestly, when was your most recent photo album developed? How many years ago? Heck, even my modelling portfolio is a CD. We enjoy how good technology has made our lives become, but I'd really enjoy holding a photo album of my happy times then turning on the computer just to browse them.

When people say that  "machines will rule the world", it's not because they become intelligent lifeforms and invade us, but rather because we fall at the hands of human laziness and over-reliance on machines...

Tried watching TBBT, but again I did not enjoy the show. The jokes related to stuff I had no idea what they were. Like the episode I watched. The 4 geeks were sitting at the restaurant that Penny worked at, and were discussing some battle. All the armies they mentioned left me clueless. All I understood was Superman, Godzilla and the Hulk. Sure, call me stupid for being unable to understand the jokes, but I'm smart enough to prefer humor not requiring brains. Gosh, television is for enjoyment! If I wanted to think I'd go look at stocks on television. HIMYM ftw!
